⁶ You have laid me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.

²² For a fire is kindled in my anger, and burns to the lowest Sheol, and devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.

² He also brought me up out of a pit of tumult, out of the miry clay; and he set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure.

¹⁵ Do not let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Do not let the pit shut its mouth on me.
