⁷ Lift up your heads, you gates. Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

³⁵ It happened, when the ark went forward, that Moses said, "Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered. Let those who hate you flee before you." ³⁶ When it rested, he said, "Return, LORD, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel."

¹⁷ And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had set up for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

⁶ The priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim.

¹¹ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

⁵ His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.

¹⁶ Why do you look in envy, you rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, the LORD will dwell there forever. ¹⁷ The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, in holiness. ¹⁸ You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. And you gave gifts to people; but the rebellious will not dwell in the presence of God.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.

¹⁹ Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them and praise the LORD. ²⁰ This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous will enter into it.

⁸ Arise, LORD, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength.

² Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter: the one which keeps faith.

⁷ and I will shake all nations, and they will come with the treasures of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.

⁹ 'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts; 'and in this place will I give peace,' says the LORD of hosts."

⁸ which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

⁸ Therefore he says, "When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people." ⁹ Now this, "He ascended," what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
