³ Your people offer themselves willingly on the day of your power. On the holy mountains at sunrise the dew of your youth will be yours.

² "Because the leaders took the lead in Israel, because the people offered themselves willingly, be blessed, LORD.

²⁹ Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship the LORD in holy array.

² The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

²⁷ Every part of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. ²⁸ For the kingdom is the LORD's, and he is the ruler over the nations.

⁹ Worship the LORD in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.

¹² "This is the law of the house: on the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Look, this is the law of the house.

⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest part of the earth."

³³ Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you see and hear.

⁴¹ Then those who received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.

⁴ But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

³⁰ while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus." ³¹ When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. ³² And the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. ³³ With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all. ³⁴ For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, ³⁵ and put them at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.

²⁰ So the word of the Lord was growing and becoming mighty.

²⁰ They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Law.

² God did not reject his people, which he foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel: ³ "Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have broken down your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life." ⁴ But how does God answer him? "I have kept for myself seven thousand people, who have not bowed the knee to Baal." ⁵ Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.

¹ Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia; ² how that in much proof of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their liberality. ³ For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,

¹² For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you do not have.

¹⁶ But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.

⁴ For indeed he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

¹⁵ But when God, who had set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through his grace, was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal his Son to me, that I might proclaim him among those who are not Jewish, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,

⁴ even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;

¹³ For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

⁷ For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

²¹ make you complete in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever. Amen.

⁹ After these things I looked, and suddenly there was a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
