³³ But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and will be at ease, without fear of harm."

¹² What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose. ¹³ His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the land.

¹³ Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways.

⁷ He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. ⁸ His heart is secure, he has no fears; in the end he will look in triumph on his adversaries.

²¹ My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion: ²² so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck. ²³ Then you shall walk in your way securely, and your foot won't stumble. ²⁴ When you lie down, you will not be afraid; you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. ²⁵ Do not be afraid of sudden fear, or of the storm of the wicked when it comes: ²⁶ for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.

³² "Now therefore, son, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways. ³³ Hear instruction, and be wise. Do not refuse it. ³⁴ Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. ³⁵ For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from the LORD.

¹¹ For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.

²⁶ In the fear of the LORD is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children.

³ You will keep him in peace, in peace whose thoughts are fixed on you, because he trusts in you.

¹⁸ But would that you had listened to my commandments. Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

³ Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the faithful kindnesses of David.

We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." ³⁷ No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
