⁴² Why, David himself says in the book of psalms, The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand,

⁴³ He said to them, "How is it then that David in the Spirit calls him Lord? ⁴⁴ The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand, till I put your enemies under your feet.' ⁴⁵ If David calls him Lord, how can he be his son?"

³⁶ David himself said in the holy Spirit, The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.' ³⁷ David here calls him Lord. Then how can he be his son?" Now the mass of the people listened with delight to him.
