¹⁵ For ye are the blessed of the Lord, whych made heauen and earth.

¹ In the beginnynge GOD created heauen and erth.

¹⁹ blessed him saying: Blessed be Abram vnto the most highest God, possessor of heauen & earth.

²⁶ And he said: let me goo, for the day breaketh. And he said: I wyll not lette the go, excepte thou blesse me. ²⁷ And he sayd vnto hym: what is thy name? He answered: Iacob. ²⁸ And he said: thou shalt be called Iacob no more, but Israel. For thou hast wresteled with God and hast preuayled. ²⁹ And Iacob asked hym sayinge, tell me thy name. And he said, wherfore doest thou aske after my name? & he blessed hym there.

⁸ Helpe belongeth vnto the Lorde, therfore let thy blessynge be vpon thy people.

⁵ As for all the goddes of the Heathen, they be but Idols, but it is the Lorde that made the heauens.

² My helpe commeth euen from the Lord which hath made heauen and earth.

⁸ Oure helpe standeth in the name of the Lord, which hath made heauen and earth.

³ The lorde that made heauen and earthe blesse the out of Sion.

⁵ Blessed is he that hath the God of Iacob for his helpe, and whose hope is in the Lord hys God. ⁶ Which made heauen and earth, the sea, & all that therin is, which kepeth hys promise for euer.

¹⁵ and saiynge: Syrs why do ye thys? We are mortall men lyke vnto you, and preache vnto you, that ye shoulde turne from these vanities vnto the liuynge God, which made heauen and earthe and the sea, and all that in them is:

³ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christe, which hath blessed vs wyth all maner of spyrytuall blessynges in heauenlye thynges by Christe, ⁴ accordynge as he had chosen vs in hym, before the foundacyon of the worlde was layde that we shoulde be Saynctes and wythoute blame before hym thorow loue.

⁹ not rendringe euyll for euyll, neyther rebuke for rebuke, but contrarywyse, blesse, remembryng that ye are thervnto called, euen that ye shoulde be heyres of blessinge.

⁷ sayinge with a loude voice: Feare God, & geue honoure to him, for the houre of his iudgemente is come, and worshyp hym, that made heauen and earth & the sea, & fountaynes of water.
