¹¹ I wyll shewe the, the waye of wysdome, and leade the in the ryght pathes,

⁵ Beholde, I haue taught you ordinaunces & lawes such as the Lorde my God commaunded me that ye should do euen so in the land whither ye go to possesse it.

²³ Moreouer God forbydde that I shulde synne agaynste the Lorde in leuyng praiyng for you and to shewe you the good and ryghte way. ²⁴ Onelye feare you the Lorde and serue hym truly with all your hertes: for se, he hath done great thynges for you.

³ He quickeneth my soule, and bryngeth me forth in the waye of righteousnes for his names sake.

⁴ Shewe me thy wayes, O Lord, & teach me thy pathes. ⁵ Lede me in thy trueth and learne me, for thou art the God of my healthe, and in the is my hope al the day long.

⁴ he taughte me also, saiyng: Let thyne herte receaue my wordes, kepe my commaundementes, and thou shalt lyue.

⁶ Geue eare, for I will speake of great matters, and open my lyppes to tell thinges that be right.

⁹ They are all playne to suche as will vnderstande, and ryght to them that fynde knowlege.

²⁰ I walke in the waye of righteousnes, and in the strete of iudgement.

⁹ The same Preacher was not wyse alone, but taught the people knowlege also: he gaue good hede, sought out the ground & set forth many parables.

¹⁰ & sayde. O full of all subteltie and disseytfulnes the chylde of the deuyll, and the enemye of all ryghteousnes, thou ceasest not to peruerte the strayghte wayes of the Lorde.
