¹² If thou wylt saye: I knewe not of it. Thinkest thou that he which made the herts, doth not consider it? & that he which regardeth thy soule, seyth it not? Shall not he recompence euerye man accordynge to his workes?

⁶ The Lorde kylleth and maketh a lyue, bryngeth doune to hell & fetcheth vp agayne

⁷ But the Lorde sayde vnto Samuel: loke not on his fashion nor on the height of hys stature, for I haue refused hym. Because it is not as man seyth. For man loketh on the outward apperaunce, but the Lorde beholdeth the harte.

²⁹ And yf any man rise to persecute the and to seke thy soule the soule of my Lorde be bounde in a bondel of lyfe with the Lorde thy God. And thy soules of thy enemies be slong in the midle of a slinge.

¹¹ but he rewardeth the worckes of man, and causeth euerye man to fynde accordynge to hys wayes.

⁹ Oh let the wickednes of the vngodly come to an ende: but maynteyne the iust, thou rightuous God, that triest the very hertes and the reynes.

³ Thou hast proued & visited myne herte in the night season: thou hast tryed me in the fyre: & hast founde no wickednes in me: for I vtterly purposed that my mouthe shoulde not offende.

²¹ Should not God fynde it out? for he knoweth the very secretes of the herte.

¹² That thou Lorde arte mercyfull, and that thou rewardeste euerye man accordynge to his worckes.

⁹ Whych holdeth oure soule in life, and suffreth not our fete to slyppe.

³ He wyll not suffer thy fote to be moued, and he that kepeth the slepeth not.

⁸ The Lorde preserueth thy goyng out and thy commynge in, from thys tyme forth for euer more.

²¹ For euery mannes waies are open in the sight of the Lorde, and he pondreth all their goynges.

² Euery man thynketh hys owne waye to be ryght, but the Lord iudgeth the herts.

⁸ If thou seyst the poore to be oppressed and wrongeously dealt withall, so that equite & the right of the law is wrasted in the lande: maruell not thou at such iudgement, for one great man kepeth touch with another, and the mightye helpe them selfes together.

¹⁰ Euen I the Lorde search out the grounde of the herte, & trye the reynes, and rewarde euery man accordinge to hys wayes, and acordynge to the fruyte of his councels.

¹⁹ Thou art the greate and myghtie God, whose name is the Lorde of Hostes, greate in counsel, and infinite in thought. Thine eyes loke vpon all the wayes of mens chyldren, to rewarde euery one after his waye, and according to the frutes of his inuencyons.

²³ but hast magnyfyed thy selfe aboue the Lorde of heauen, so that the vessels of hys house were broughte before the, that thou, and thy Lordes, with thy quene and concubynes, myght drincke wyne thereoute: And hast praysed the Idoles of syluer and golde, copper and yron, of wode and stone: As for the God in whose hande consysteth thy breth and all thy wayes: thou haste not loaued hym.

²⁷ For the sonne of man shall come in the glorye of hys father, wyth hys aungels: & then shall he rewarde euery man accordyng to his dedes.

²⁸ For in him we lyue, moue, and haue our beyng, as certayne of your own Poetes sayd. For we are also hys generacion.

⁶ whyche wyll rewarde euerye man according to hys dedes:

¹⁶ at the daye when God shall iudge the secretes of men by Iesus Christ accordynge to my Gospell.

⁵ Therfore iudge nothinge before the tyme vntill the Lorde come, who wyll lyghten thinges, that are hyd in darckenes, and open the counsels of the hertes. And then shall euery man haue praise of God.

¹⁰ For we muste all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man maye receyue the workes of hys bodye accordyng to that he hath done, whether it be good or badde?

¹² For the word of God is quicke and myghty in operacion, and sharper then anye two edged swerde, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding a sonder of the soule and the spirite, and of the ioyntes and the marie, and iudgeth the thoughtes and the ententes of the herte: ¹³ neyther is there anye creature inuisible in the syght of him. For all thinges are naked and bare vnto the eyes of him, of whom we speake.

¹⁸ and am alyue, and was dead. And beholde I am alyue for euer more and haue the kayes of hell, & of death.

¹⁸ And vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Thiatyra wryte. This sayth the sonne of God, which hath hys eyes lyke vnto flame of fyre, whose feete are lyke brasse:

²³ And I will kyl her chyldren wyth death. And all the congregacions shal know, that I am he, whiche searched the reynes and hertes. And I will geue vnto euery one of you according vnto youre workes.

¹² And I sawe the deade, both great and small stande before God: & the bokes were opened, & an other boke was opened, which is the boke of lyfe, and the dead were iudged of those thynges: which were wrytten in the bokes accordyng to theyr deedes: ¹³ & the sea gaue vp her deade, which were in her, & death & hel delyuered vp the deade which were in them: & they were iudged euery man according to hys deedes. ¹⁴ And death & hell were cast into the lake of fyre. Thys is that seconde death. ¹⁵ And who so euer was not founde wrytten in the boke of lyfe, was caste into the lake of fyre.

¹² And beholde I come shortlye, & my rewarde wyth me, to geue euerye man accordynge as hys dedes shall be.
