⁸ God that brought him out of Egipt his strength is as the strengthe of an vnicorne, & he shal eate the nations that are hys enemies & breake theyr bones, and perce them thorowe wyth hys arrowes.

⁹ But in any wyse rebell not agaynst the Lorde, Moreouer feare ye not the people of the land, for they are but bread for vs. Theyr shyeld is departed from them, and the Lorde is wyth vs: feare them not therfore.

⁵ And the people spake against God and against Moses: wherfore hast thou brought vs oute of Egypte, for to dye in the wyldernes, for here is neither bread nor water, and our soules lotheth thys light bread.

²² God hath brought them out of Egypt is as the strength of an vnicorne vnto them,

²⁴ Behold the people shall ryse vp as a lyonesse and heaue vp him selfe as a lyon, & shall not lye downe agayne, vntyl he haue eaten of the praye and dronke of the bloud of them that are slayne.

¹ When the Lorde thy God hathe brought the into the land whither thou goest to possesse it, & hast coste out manye nations before the: the Hethytes, the Gergesites, the Amorites, the Cananites, the Pheresites, the Heuites, and the Iebusites .vij. nacions moo in numbre & mightier then thou:

²³ I wyll heape mischeues vpon them & wyl spend al myne arrowes at them.

⁴² I wyl make myne arowes dronken with bloud, and my swerde shal eate fleshe of the bloude of the slayne & of the captyue and of the bare head of the enemy.

⁹ Thou shalt rule them wyth a rodde of yron, and breake them in peces lyke an earthen vessell.

¹² Therfore shalte thou put them to flighte, & with thy strynges thou shalte make ready thyne arrowes agaynst the faces of them.

⁵ Thy arrowes are sharpe, the people shal be subdued vnto the, euen in the myddest amonge the kynges enemyes.

¹³ I thought I wolde haue lyued vnto the morow, but he brosed my bones lyke a lyon, and made an ende of me in one daye.

⁹ For lo, I wyll wake vp an hoost of people from the northren lande, and brynge them vpon Babylon: these shall laye sege to it, and winne it: Theyr arowes shall not mysse, like as a connyng archer shuteth not wronge.

¹⁷ Israel is a scatred flocke, the Lyons haue dispersed them. Fyrste the kynge of the Assyryans deuoured them, last of all thys Nabuchodonosor Kyng of Babylon hath brosed all theyr bones.

²⁴ And as for those men which had accused Daniel, the king commaunded to bringe them, and to cast them in the lyons denne: them, their children and their wiues. So the Lyons had the maystry of them, and brake all their bones a sonder, or euer they came at the grounde.
