¹⁷ And let him which is on the house toppe not come doune to fetche anye thinge out of his house.

⁸ When thou buyldest a new house, thou shalt make a batelment vnto the rouffe, that thou lade not bloude vpon thyne house, yf any man fal therof.

²⁵ And when they were come doune from the hyl into the cytye, Samuel comuned with Saul vpon the toppe of the house:

⁴ Sathan answered the Lorde, and sayde: Skynne for skynne? yee a man will geue all that euer he hath, for his lyfe.

⁴ let not thine eies slepe ner thyne eye lyddes slomber. ⁵ Saue thy selfe as a doo from the hande, and as a byrde from the handes of the fouler.

²⁵ Therfore I saie vnto you, be not tareful for you life what ye shall eate or what ye shall dryncke, nor yet for your bodye, what ye shall put on, is not the lyfe more worthe then meate, and the body more of value then rayment?

²⁷ What I tell you in darkenes, that speake ye in light. And what ye heare in the eare, that preache ye on the house toppes.

¹⁵ And let hym that is on the house top, not descended doune into the house, neither enter therein, to fetche any thynge oute of hys house. ¹⁶ And let hym that is in the fielde: not tourne backe agayne vnto the thynges, which he lefte behynde hym for to take hys clothes with hym.

¹⁹ And when they could not finde by what way they might bring him in, because of the prease, they went vp on the toppe of the house, and let him doune thorowe the tyling, bedde & all in the middest before Iesus.

³ For whatsoeuer ye haue spoken in darknes: that same shall be hearde in lyghte. And that whiche ye haue spoken in the eare, euen in secrete places, shall be preached euen on the toppe of the housses.

³¹ At that daye he that is on the house toppe, and hys stuffe in the house: let him not come doune to take it out. And lykewyse let not him that is in the fielde turne backe agayne to that he lefte behynde. ³² Remembre Lottes wyfe ³³ Whosoeuer wyll go about to saue his lyfe, shal lose it. And whosoeuer shal lose hys lyfe, shall saue it.

⁹ On the morow as they wente on theyr iourneye, and drewe nye vnto the cytie, Peter wente vp into the toppe of the house to praye about the .vi. houre.
