²⁸ For the earth bryngeth forth frute of her selfe: fyrst the blade, then the eares, after that full corne in the eares.

¹¹ And God sayde: let the erth brynge forth herbe and grasse that sowe seed, and fruteful trees, that bere frute euery one in his kynde, hauyng their seed in them selues vpon the erth. And it came so to passe. ¹² And the erth brought forth herbe and grasse sowing seed euery one in hys kynde, and trees berynge frute, and hauynge theyr seed in themselues, euery one in hys kynde. And God sawe that it was good,

⁴ These are the generacions of heauen and erth when they were created, in the tyme when the Lord God created heauen & erth ⁵ and all the shrubbes of the felde before they were in the erth. And al the herbes of the felde before they sprange, for the Lord God had yet sent no rayne vpon the erth, nether was there yet any man to tylle the erth.

⁹ And the Lord god made to sprynge out of the erth, all maner trees bewtyfull to the syght and pleasant to eate, and the tree of lyfe in the myddes of the garden: and also the tree of knowledge of good and euell.

¹¹ And now curssed be thou as pertaining to the erth, whyche opened her mouth to receyue thy brothers bloude of thyne hande. ¹² For when thou tyllest the grounde she shall henceforth not geue her power vnto the. A vagabunde and a rennagate shalt thou be vpon the erth.

³ Suche a man is lyke a tree planted by the watersyde, that bringeth forthe hys frute in due season. His leaues shall not fall af, & loke whatsoeuer he doth, it shall prospere.

¹³ Suche as be planted in the house of the Lorde, be frutefull, ¹⁴ plenteous and grene.

¹⁸ The path of the ryghtuous shyneth as the lyghte, and is euer brighter and brighter vnto the perfecte daye.

¹ Every thynge hath a tyme, yea all that is vnder the heauen, hath his conuenient season.

¹¹ Al this hath he ordeyned maruelous goodly: to euery thing his due tyme He hath planted ignorance also in the hertes of men, that thei shuld not find out the ground of his workes, whiche he doth from the beginning to the end.

¹¹ For lyke as the ground bringeth forth frute, & as the garden shuteth forth sede. So shall the Lorde God cause ryghteousnesses, and the feare of God to floryshe forthe before all the Heathen.

³ Then shall we haue vnderstanding, and endeuoure oure selues to knowe the Lorde. He shall go forth as the springe of the daye, & come vnto vs as the eueninge and morninge rayne vpon the earth.

²⁶ When the blade was spronge vp, and had brought forth frute, then apeared the tares also.

³¹ It is lyke a grayne of mustarde sede, which when it is sowen in the earth, is the least of all seedes that be in the earth: ³² but after that it is sowen, it groweth vp and is greatest of al herbes and beareth great braunches, so that the foules of the ayre maye dwell vnder the shadowe of it.

⁶ and am surelye certifyed of this, that he whyche began a good worke in you, shall go forth wyth it vntyll the daye of Iesus Christe,

⁹ And this I praye, that youre loue maye increase more and more in knowledge, and in al fealinge, ¹⁰ that ye myght accepte thinges moste excellent, that ye might be pure and such as should hurte no mannes conscience, vntyll the daye of Christe, ¹¹ fylled with the fruites of rightuousnes, which fruites come by Iesus Christ vnto the glory and laude of God.

¹⁰ that ye mighte walke worthy of the Lorde in all thinges, that please him beyng frutefull in all good workes, and encreasing in the knowledge of God

¹² and the Lorde increase you and make you flow ouer in loue one towarde another and toward all men euen as we do toward you, ¹³ to make your hertes stable & vnblameable in holynesse before God oure father, at the comminge of our Lorde Iesus wyth al hys sainctes.
