⁵² He putteth doune the mightye from their seates, and exalteth them of low degre.

⁴ The boowes of the strong are broken, & the weake are endued with strength.

⁶ The Lorde kylleth and maketh a lyue, bryngeth doune to hell & fetcheth vp agayne ⁷ The Lorde maketh pore, and maketh ryche, bryngeth lowe, and heueth vp on hye. ⁸ He reyseth vp the poore out of the duste, and lyfteth vp the begger from the dong hill: to set them among princes, and to enheret them with the seate of glory. For the pyllers of the earth are the Lordes, and he hath set the rounde worlde vpon them.

¹¹ whiche setteth vp them of lowe degre, and sendeth prosperite, to those that are in heuinesse: ¹² Which destroyeth the deuyces of the sotyll, so that they are not able to performe the thinges that they take in hande: ¹³ whyche compasseth the wyse in theyr owne craftynesse, and ouerthroweth the councell of the wycked?

²⁴ Manye one, yea innumerable doth he punyshe, and setteth other in theyr steades. ²⁵ For he knoweth theyr euyll and darcke worckes, therfore shall they be destroyed. ²⁶ They that were in the steade of Sears, dealte lyke vngodly men. ²⁷ Therfore turned they backe trayterously and vnfaythfully from hym, & wolde not receyue hys wayes. ²⁸ In so muche that they haue caused the voyce of the poore to come vnto hym, and nowe he heareth the complaynte of suche as are in necessite.

⁴⁰ Though he suffre them to be euell intreated thorow tyrauntes, or lette them wandre out of the waye in the wildernesse. ⁴¹ Yet helpeth he the poore out of misery (at the last) and maket hym an housholde lyke a flocke of shepe.

⁶ whyche humbleth him selfe, to beholde that is in heauen and earth. ⁷ Which taketh vp the simple out of the dust and lyfteth the poore out of the myre. ⁸ That he may sette him amonge the prynces, euen amonge the prynces of hys people.

¹⁴ Some one commeth out of pryson, & is made a kyng: and another which is born in the kyngdome, commeth vnto pouerte.

²⁴ And all the trees of the felde shall knowe that I the Lord haue brought doune the hye tree, and set the low tre vp: that I haue dryed vp the grene tree, and made the drye tree to florysh. Euen I the Lorde that spake it, haue also brought it to passe.

¹¹ At that tyme wyll I buylde agayne the tabernacle of Dauid, that is fallen downe and hedge vp hys gappes: and loke what is broken, I shall repayre it: Yee I shall buylde it agayne, as it was a fore tyme,

³ Is not this that carpenter Maries sonne, the brother of Iames and Ioses, & of Iuda and Simon? and are not his systers here with vs? And thei were offended by him.

¹⁴ I tell you: this man departed home to hys house iustifyed more then the other. For euerye man that exalteth hym selfe, shalbe brought lowe. And he that humbleth hym selfe, shalbe exalted.

⁹ Let the brother of low degre reioyce in that he is exalted, ¹⁰ and the ryche in that he is made lowe. For euen as the flower of the grasse, shal he vanysh away.

¹⁰ Cast doune your selues before the Lorde, and he shal lyfte you vp.
