³¹ And yf anye man axe you, why that ye lewse him: thus say vnto him: the Lorde hath nede of hym.

¹ A Psalme of Dauid. The earth is the Lordes, & all that therin is: the compase of the world, & al that dwell therein.

¹⁰ For all the beastes of the felde are myne, and thousandes of cattell vppon the hylles. ¹¹ I know al the foules vpon the mountaynes, and the wylde beastes of the felde are in my sight. ¹² If I be hongry, I wyll not tell the: for the whole worlde is myne, & all that therein is.

² sayinge to them. Go into the towne that lyeth ouer agaynste you, and anone ye shal fynde an Asse bound, & her colte with her: lose them, and bringe them vnto me. ³ And if any man saye ought vnto you, saye ye that the Lord hath nede of them: and streyght waye he will let them go.

³ And yf any man say vnto you: why do ye so? Saye that the Lorde hath nede of hym: and strayghte waye he wyll sende hym hyther. ⁴ And they wente theyr waye, & founde a coolte tyed by the dore without in a place where two wayes met, and they losed hym. ⁵ And dyuers of them that stode there, sayd vnto them: What do ye lowsyng the coolte? ⁶ And they sayed vnto them euen as Iesus had commaunded them. And they let them go.

³⁶ Ye knowe the preachinge that God sent vnto the chyldren of Israel, preachynge peace by Iesus Christe, whiche is Lorde ouer all thinges.
