¹⁷ He that killeth any manne, shall dye for it

⁵ For verily the bloude of you wherin youre lyues are wyl I require: Euen of the hand of all beastes wyll I requyre it, and of the hande of man and of the hand of euerye mannes brother wyll I requyre the lyfe of man: ⁶ so that he whych sheadeth mans bloud shal haue his bloud shed by man againe: for God made man after hys owne lykenesse.

¹² He that smiteth a man that he dye shalbe slain for it. ¹³ If a man laie not awayt but God delyuer him into his hand, then I wyll poynte the a place whether he shall fle. ¹⁴ If a man come presumpteously vpon his neyghboure and slea him with gile, thou shalt take him fro myne aulter that he dye.

³⁰ Whosoeuer sleith, shalbe slayne at the mouth of wytnesses. For one witnesse shal not answere agaynst one persone to put him to death. ³¹ Moreouer ye shall take none amendes for the lyfe of the murtherer whyche is worthy to dye: But he shall be put to death.

¹¹ But and yf there be any man that hateth hys neyghboure and layeth awayte for him & riseth agaynst hym & smyteth him that he dye, & fleeth vnto any of these cytyes. ¹² Then let the elders of his citye sende & fetche him thence & deliuer hym into the handes of the iustice of bloude, & he shall dye,

²⁴ Cursed be he that smiteth his neyghbour secretly, and all the people shall saye Amen.
