²⁴ For this cause shal a man leue father & mother, & cleue vnto hys wyfe, & they shal be one flesh.

⁷ and Noe went and hys sonnes and his wyfe & his sonnes wyues wt him, into the arcke from the water of the floud.

²⁶ Al the soules that came wyth Iacob in to Egypte whyche came oute of hys loyns (besyde hys sonnes wyfes) were al together .lx. and .vi. soules.

³¹ For this cause shall a man leaue father and mother, and shall continue wyth hys wyfe, and two shalbe made one fleshe. ³² Thys is a greate secrete, but I speake betwene Christe and the congregation. ³³ Neuerthelesse do ye so that euerye one of you loue his wyfe truely euen as hym selfe: And let the wyfe se that she feare her husbande.
