²⁵ that the Lorde hath made Iordan a border betwene vs and you ye chyldren of Ruben & of Gad: ye haue no parte therfore in the Lorde: and so shall youre chyldren make our chyldren cease from fearynge the Lorde.

²⁷ but it shalbe a wytnesse betwene vs, and you and oure generacyons after vs, that we shulde serue the Lorde, wyth our offerynges, sacryfyces and peace offerynges: and that youre chyldren shulde not say to oures in tyme to come, ye haue no parte in the Lorde.

¹⁹ Now heare therfore (my lord king) the wordes of thy seruaunt Yf the lorde haue stered the vp against me, he shal smel the sauoure of sacryfyce. But & yf they be the children of men, cursed be they before the Lorde. For they haue cast me out from abyding in the enheritaunce of the Lorde, saying: hence & go serue other Goddes.

¹ And there happened to be an vnthryftye felow named Seba the sonne of Bochri a man of Gemini whyche blewe a trompet and sayde: we haue no parte in Dauid, nor inheritaunce in the sonne of Isai, o Israel, let vs depart therfore euery man to hys tent.

Beholde youre Goddes Israel which brought you out of the lande of Egypte. ²⁹ And he put the one in Bethel, and the other in Dan. ³⁰ And that doynge, was a cause of synne. And the people went before the one as farre as Dan.

¹⁶ And he wyll geue Israell vp, because of the synne of Ieroboam wherewith he dyd synne and made Israell synne therto.

³⁰ for the synne of Ieroboam wherwith he synned and made Israel synne, and for his angeringe wherwyth he angred the Lorde God of Israel.

² they came to Zorobabel and to the principal fathers, and saide vnto them: We wyl buylde with you: for we seke the Lorde youre God lyke as ye do. And we haue done sacrifice vnto him, sence the tyme that Asor Hadon the Kinge of Assur broughte vs vp hyther. ³ But Zorobabel and Iesua and the other auncient fathers of Israel answered them: It belongeth not to you, but to vs to buylde the house vnto oure God: for we oure selues wil buylde alone vnto the Lorde oure God of Israel, as Cyrus the kinge of Persia hathe commaunded vs.

²⁰ Then answered I them, and sayde: the God of heauen he it is that causeth vs to prospere: and we be hys seruauntes. Let vs get vp and buylde. As for you, ye haue no porcyon nor ryghte nor remembraunce in Ierusalem.

²¹ Thou hast neither parte nor fellowshippe in thys busynes. For the hert is not ryght in the sight of God.
