¹³ Though thou hidest these thinges in thine hert, yet am I sure, that thou remembrest them all.

³⁹ Se nowe howe that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kyll and make a lyue, and what I haue smytten that I can heale: neyther is there that can deliuer anye man out of my hande.

⁹ Yf I go on the left side to pondre his worckes, I can not atteine vnto them. Agayn, yf I go on the right syde, he hydeth him self, that I can not se him.

¹³ It is he him selfe alone, who wyll turne hym back? He doth as him listeth, and bryngeth to passe what he will.

⁶ For euerye thinge wil haue oportunite and iudgement, and thys is the thynge that maketh men ful of carefulnes and sorowe. ⁷ And why a man knoweth not what is for to come, for who wyll tell him?

⁷ It is I that created the lyght and darcknes, I make peace & trouble yee euen I the Lorde do all these thinges.

¹⁵ O how profunde art thou O God, thou God & Sauioure of Israel?

⁹ Remembre the thynges which are past, sence the begynnyng of the worlde: that I am God, & that there is els no God, yee & that there is nothynge lyke vnto me. ¹⁰ In the beginning of a thynge, I shewe the ende therof: & I tell before, thynges that are not yet come to passe. With one worde is my deuyce accomplyshed, & fulfylleth all my pleasure. ¹¹ I call a byrde out of the East, & all that I take in hande, out of farre countrees, as soone as I commaunde, I brynge it hether: as soone as I thyncke to deuyse a thynge, I do it.

³⁷ Mem. What is he then that sayeth: there shuld somethynge be done without the Lordes commaundement:

³³ O the deapnes of the abundaunte wysedome and knoweledge of God: howe vnsearcheable are his iudgementes, and hys wayes paste fyndynge out?
