⁹ For thus sayeth the Lord dysceyue not your owne myndes, thinckinge on thys maner: tush, the Caldees go now their waye from vs: No, they shall not go their waye.

⁸ For thus sayth the Lorde of hostes the God of Israell: Let not those prophetes and sothsayers that be amonge you dysceyue you: and beleue not youre owne dreames.

³ The pryde of thyne herte hath lyft the vp, thou that dwellest in the stronge holdes of stone, & haste made the an hye seate: Thou sayest in thyne hert: who shall cast me downe to the grounde?

⁴ And Iesus aunswered and sayd vnto them: take hede that no man deceyue you. ⁵ For many shal come in my name sayng: I am Christe: and shall deceyue many.

³ Yf anye man seme to hym selfe, that he is somwhat, when in dede he is nothynge the same deceyueth hym selfe in hys ymaginacyon.

⁷ Be not deceyued, God is not mocked. For what soeuer a man soweth, that shal he reape.

⁶ Let no man deceiue you with vayne wordes. For thorowe suche thinges commeth the wrath of God vpon the children of vnbelefe.

³ Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon

²² And se that ye be doars of the worde & not hearers onely, deceyuyng your owne selues wyth sophystrye.
