² But neyther he, nor hys seruauntes, nor the people in the lande woulde obeye the wordes of the Lord, which he spake by the Prophet Ieremye.

¹³ But he sayed: oh my Lord, send I pray the whom thou wylt.

³⁶ And Aaron and hys sonnes dyd all thynges whyche the Lorde commaunded by the hand of Moses.

² Then sayde Dauid: I wyl shew kyndnesse vnto Hanon the sonne of Nahas, as hys father shewed kyndnesse vnto me. And thervpon Dauid sente to conforte hym by the hande of hys seruauntes ouer the death of hys father. Now when Dauids seruauntes were come into the land of the chyldren of Amnon:

²⁵ And he sent by the hand of Nathan the Prophete & called his name Iedidiah, of the Lordes behalfe.

¹⁸ And all Israel buryed hym, and lamented hym, accordyng to the worde of the Lorde which he spake by the hande of hys seruaunt Ahiah the Prophete.

⁷ And therto thorow the Prophete Iehu the sonne of Hanani, the word of the lorde came against Baasa & agaynste hys house, because of al the wyckednesse that he did in the sight of the lorde in angerynge hym wyth the workes of his handes, that he shoulde be lyke the house of Ieroboam, because he had kylled Nabat.

¹⁹ And he dyd euyl in the sight of the lorde, in al pointes lyke to Iehoakim. ²⁰ For throughe the wrath of the Lorde it so chaunsed to Ierusalem and Iuda, vntyl he had cast them out of hys syghte. And the sayde Zedekiah rebelled agaynst the king of Babylon.

¹² And he dyd that displeased the Lord his God, & humbled not him selfe before Ieremiah the prophete at the mouth of the Lorde. ¹³ And therto he rebelled agaynst Nabuchodonozor which had receyued on othe of hym by God, & was to styfenecked & to harde herted to turne vnto the Lord God of Israel. ¹⁴ Therto all the rulers of the preastes with the people trespaced a pace after all maner of abhomynacyons of the hethen & poluted the house of the Lorde which he had halowed in Ierusalem. ¹⁵ And the Lord God of theyr fathers sent to them by his messengers, sendynge them be tymes: for he had compassyon on hys people & on his dwellynge place. ¹⁶ But they mocked the messengers of God & despised theyr wordes & mysse vsed his prophetes, vntyll the wrath of the Lord so arose agaynst hys people that it was past remeadie.

⁶ He is lame of his fete yea dronken is he in vanite, that committeth any thing to a fole.

¹² If a prynce delyte iu lyes, all his seruauntes are vngodly.

²⁵ O thou shamefull wycked gyde of Israel whose daye is come: euen the tyme that wyckednesse shall haue an ende.

¹⁰ I haue spoken thorow the prophetes, and shewed diuerse visions, and declared my self by the ministracyon of the prophetes.

⁸ He therfore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, whiche hath sente his holye spirite amonge you.
