⁸ For in that daye, sayeth the Lorde, I wyll take his yocke from of thy rocke, & breake thy bondes. They shall no more serue straunge Goddes vnder hym,

⁴ For thou shalte breake the yocke of the peoples burthen, the staffe of his shoulder, and the road of hys oppressoure, as in the daye of Madian.

²⁷ Then shall his burthen be taken from thy shoulders, and his yock from thy neck, yea the same yocke shall be corrupt for very fatnesse.

²⁵ The Assyryans shalbe destroyed in my lande, and vpon my mountaynes wyll I treade them vnder fote. Where thorow hys yock shall come from you, & hys burthen shalbe taken from youre shoulders.

²⁰ I haue euer broken thy yocke of olde, and burste thy bondes: yet sayest thou: I wil nomore serue, but (lyke an harlot) thou runnest aboute vpon all hye hilles, and amonge all grene trees,

¹⁴ so that they also shal be subdued vnto diuerse nacyons and greate kinges, for I wil recompense them, accordyng to theyr dedes and worckes of their owne handes.

² Make the bondes & chaynes, & put them aboute thy necke,

⁷ And all people shall serue hym, and hys sonne, and hys chyldes chyldren, vntyll the tyme of the same lande become also: yea many people & greate Kynges shall serue hym.

⁴ Yea, I wyll brynge agayne Iechoniah the sonne of Iehoakim the kynge of Iuda hym selfe, with all the prysonners of Iuda (that are caryed vnto Babylon) euen into this place sayeth the Lorde, for I wyll breake the yoeke of the kynge of Babylon.

¹⁰ And Hananiah the Prophete toke the chaine from the Prophet Ieremies neck, and brake it

¹³ Go, and tell Hananiah these wordes: Thus sayeth the Lorde: Thou haste broken the chayne of wode, but in steade of woode thou shalte make chaynes of yron.

²⁷ that the trees in the wood maye brynge forthe theyr frutes, & the grounde her increase. They shalbe safe in theyr lande, & shall knowe, that I am the Lorde, whiche haue broken theyr yocke, and delyuered them oute of the handes of those, that helde them in subieccyon.

¹³ And now wyll I breake hys rodde from thy backe, & burst thy bondes in sonder.
