²² And God remembred Rahel, heard hir, & made hyr fruitefull:

¹ And God remembred Noe & al the beastes & al the catel that were with him in the arck. And God made a wynde to blowe vpon the erth, & the waters ceased:

¹ The Lorde vysyted Sara as he had sayd & dyd vnto her acordyng as he had promysed. ² And Sara was with chyld and bare Abraham a sonne in hys olde age euen the same season which the Lord had appoynted.

²¹ And Isaac made intercession vnto the Lord for his wife, bicause she was barren: and the Lord was entreated of hym, & Rebecca hys wyfe conceyued:

³¹ When the Lord sawe that Lea was despised he made hyr fruitful: but Rahel was baren.

² Then was Iacob wroth wyth Rahel saying. Am I in Godds stede whyche kepeth from the, the fruite of thy wombe?

¹⁹ And they rose vp erlye, and bowed them selues before the Lorde, & then returned & went to theyr house to Ramath. And Elkenah laye by hys wyfe Hannah, and the Lorde remembred her. ²⁰ And in processe of tyme she couceyued and bare a sonne, & called hys name Samuel: because she had asked hym of the Lord.

⁴² For why? he remembred his holy promes whyche he had made vnto Abraham his seruaunte.

⁹ Whyche maketh the baren woman to kepe house, and to be a ioyfull mothere of chyldren. Prayse the euerlastyng.

³ Lo, chyldren & the frute of the wombe are an heritage & gift, that commeth of the Lorde.
