8 Neuerthelesse yf the woman wyl not agree to come wyth the than shalt thou be with out daunger of thys ooth. But aboue all thinge brynge not my sonne thyther agayne.
9 And the seruaunt put his hand vnder the thye of Abraham & sware to hym as concernyng that matter.

46 And Rebecca spake to Isaac: I am werye of my life, for feare of the doughters of Heth. If Iacob take a wife of the doughters of Heth, such one as these are, or of the daughters of the land, what lust shold I haue to lyue.
Ezra 9:1-3
1 When all this was perfourmed, the rulers came to me, & sayde: The people of Israell, and the priestes, & Leuites are not separated from the nacions in the landes as thouchynge theyr abhomynacions, namely of the Cananites, Hethites, Pheresites, Iebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egypcyans, and Amorites.
2 For they haue taken the doughters of the same, and their sonnes, and haue myxte the holy seade wyth the nacyons in the landes: and the hande of the prynces and rulers hath bene pryncypall in hys trespace.
3 When I hearde thys, I rent my clothes and my rayment, and plucte of the hearre of my heade, and of my bearde, and sate mournyng.
