¹⁸ To whome shalte thou be lykened, that arte so gloryous and greate, amonge the trees of Eden? Yet arte thou cast doune vnder the earthe (amonge the trees of Eden) where thou muste lye amonge vncyrcumcysed, with them that be slayne with the swearde. Euen thus is it with Pharao and al hys people, sayeth the Lorde God.

²⁶ Then spake Dauid to the men that stode by and sayde: What shalbe done to the man that beateth thys Philistine, and taketh awaye the shame from Israel? for what is this vncircumcysed Phylystyne, that he shoulde reuyle the hoste of the lyuynge God?

³⁶ For bothe a Lyon and also a Beare hath thy seruaunt slayne. And this vncircumcysed Philistine shalbe as one of them, for hys railing on the hoste of the lyuyng God.

²⁰ Tell it not in Geth: nor publyshe it in the streates of Askalon: lest the doughters of the Philistines reioyse, and that the doughters of the vncircumcysed triumphe thereof.

²² And therto in the very tyme of hys tribulacion dyd kynge Ahaz trespace yet moare agaynst the Lorde.

⁷ Lo, this is the man, that toke not God for his strength but trusted vnto the multitud of his riches, & was myghty in his wickednes.

²⁵ Beholde, the tyme commeth (sayth the Lorde) that I will vyset all them, whose foreskinne is vncyrcumcysed. ²⁶ The Egypcians, the Iewes, the Edomytes, the Ammonytes, the Moabites, and the shauen Madyanites, that dwell in the wildernes. ¹⁰ Dye shalte thou, euen as the vncircumcysed in the handes of the enemyes: for I my selfe haue spoken it, sayeth the Lord God.

² Thou sonne of man speake vnto Pharao the kynge of Egypte and to all hys people: Whome arte thou lyke in thy greatenesse?

⁹ so fayre and goodly had I made him wyth the multytude of hys braunches: In so muche that al the trees in the pleasaunte garden of God, had enuye at hym.

¹⁶ I wyll make the Heathen shake at the sounde of hys fall, when I caste hym doune to hell, with them that descende into the pytte. All the trees of Eden, with all the chosen and best trees of Lybanus, yea and all they that are planted vpon the waters, shall mourne with him also in the lower habytacyons:

¹⁰ Yea I wyl make many people with their kynges so afrayed thorowe the, that theyr hearre shal stand vp, when I shake my sweard at theyr faces Sodenly shall they be astonnyed, euerye man in hym selfe, at the day of thy fall.

¹⁹ Downe (how fayre soeuer thou be) and laye the wyth the vncyrcumcysed.

²¹ The myghtye worthyes and hys helpers, that be gone doune, and lye wyth the vncyrcumcysed, and with them that be slayne wyth the swearde, shall speake to hym oute of the hell.

²⁴ There is Elam also wyth all hys people, and their graues round aboute: which al being wounded and slayne wyth the swearde, are gone doune vncircumcysed vnder the earthe, whiche neuertheles sometyme broughte feare into the lande of the lyuynge: for the whiche they beare theyr shame, wyth the other that be gone doune to the graue. ²⁵ Theyr buryall is geuen them, and al theyr people, amonge them that be slayne. Theyr graues are rounde aboute all them, which be vncyrcumcysed, & with them that be slayne thorowe the sweard: for seyng that in tymes past they made the lande of the lyuynge afrayed, they must now bear theyr owne shame, wt them that go doune to the pytte, and lye among them that be slayne. ²⁶ There is Mesech also and Tubal, & theyr people, and theyr graues rounde about. These al are among the vncircumcysed, & them that be slayne with the swearde, because afore tyme they made the lande of the lyuynge afrayed. ²⁷ Shulde not they then lye also amonge the worthyes, and vncyrcumcysed Gyauntes? which with theyr weapens are gone doune to hell: whose sweardes are layed vnder theyr heades, whose wickednesse is vpon theyr bones: because that as worthyes, they haue broughte feare into the lande of the lyuynge? ²⁸ Yea amonge the vncyrcumcysed shalte thou be destroyed, and slepe wyth them, that perysshed thorowe the swearde. ²⁹ There is the lande of Edom with her kinges & princes also, whiche with theyr strengthe are layed by them that were slayne with the swearde, yea amonge the vncyrcumcysed, and them whiche are gone doune into the pytte. ³⁰ Moreouer, there be all the prynces of the north wyth all the Sydonyans, whiche are gone doune to the slayne. With theyr feare & strength they are come to confusyon, and lye there vncyrcumcysed, amonge those that be slayne with the swearde: and beare theyr owne shame, with them that be gone doune to the pytte. ³¹ Nowe when Pharao seyth thys, he shalbe comforted ouer all hys people, that is slayne wyth the swearde both Pharao and all hys host, sayeth the lord God. ³² For I haue geuen my feare in the lande of the lyuynge. But Pharao and all hys people shall lye amonge the vncyrcumcysed, and amonge them that be slayne with the sweard sayeth the Lorde God.

¹⁹ Whosoeuer heareth the word of the kyngedome and vnderstandeth it not, there cometh the euill man, and catcheth awaye that which was sowen in hys hert, and this is he whiche was sowen by the way side.

²⁶ As they dyd eate, Iesus toke bread and gyue thankes, brake it and gaue it to the discyples and sayed: Take, eate, thys is my body. ²⁷ And he toke the cup, & thanked, and gaue it them, saying: drynke of it euery one: ²⁸ For thys is my bloude of the newe testament, that shalbe shedde for many, for the remissyon of synnes.

¹⁴ Wherfore my deare beloued, fle from worshipping of Idols.
