¹ And the Lorde saide vnto Moses: departe and go hence: both thou & the people whych thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, vnto the lande which I swore vnto Abraham, Isaac and Iacob sayinge: vnto thy seed I wyl geue it.

⁷ Then the Lorde appeared vnto Abram & sayd: vnto thy seed wyll I gyue this lande. And he builded an aulter ther vnto the Lord whyche appeared vnto hym.

¹⁴ And the Lorde sayd vnto Abraham, after that Lot was departed from hym: Lyfte vp thyne eyes, & loke from the place wher thou art, northward, southward, estward, & westward, ¹⁵ for all the Lande whyche thou seest, wyl I gyue vnto the, & to thy sede for euer. ¹⁶ And I wyll make thy sede, as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can numbre the duste of the earth, then shall thy sede also be numbred. ¹⁷ Aryse, and walke about all the Lande, in the length of it, and in the bredth, for I wil giue it vnto them.

¹⁸ And that same daye the Lorde made a couenaunte with Abram sayinge: vnto thy seed wyl I geue this land, from the riuer of Egypt, euen vnto the greate ryuer Euphrates,

¹⁶ by my selfe haue I sworne (sayth the Lord) because thou hast done this thynge and hast not spared thy only sonne, ¹⁷ that I wyll blesse the & multiplie thy seed as the starres of heauen and as the sande vpon the sea syde. And thy seed shall possesse the gates of hys enymies. ¹⁸ And in thy seed shal al the nacions of the erth be blessed, because thou hast obeyed my voyce.

³ soiourne in thys lande, and I wyll be wyth the, and wyll blesse the: for vnto the, and vnto thy seed, I wil giue al these contryes. And I wyl perfourme the oth which I sware vnto Abraham thy father,

¹³ yea, & the Lord stod vpon it, and sayed. I am the Lorde God of Abraham thy father, & the God of Isaac. The land whiche thou sleapest vpon wyl I gyue the & thy sede. ¹⁴ And thy sede shal be as the dust of the earth: and thou shalt spreade abrode: weste, easte, north, and south. And thorowe the and thy sede shal al the kynreds of the earth be blessed. ¹⁵ And se I am wyth the, and wyll be thy keper in all places whyther thou goest, and wyll brynge the agayne into thys land: neither wyll I leaue the vntyll I haue made good all that I haue promised the.

³ There the people thyrsted for water, and murmured agaynst Moses & sayde: wherfore hast thou brought vs out of Egypte, to kyll vs and oure chyldren & oure catel with thyrste?

¹ And whan the people saw that it was long or Moses came down out of the mountaine, they gathered theym selues together and came vnto Aaron and sayd vnto him. Vp and make vs a God to goo before vs: for of thys Moises the felow that brought vs out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become.

⁷ Then the Lorde sayde vnto Moses: goo get the downe, for thy people whyche thou broughtest oute of the lande of Egypte

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel thy seruauntes, to whom thou sworest by thyne owne selfe & saidest vnto them. I wyll multiplye youre seed as the starres of heauen, and all thys lande which I haue sayd, I wyll geue vnto youre seede: and they shal enheret it for euer

³⁴ But go & bryng the people vnto the land which I sayd vnto the: behold, myne angel shall go before the. Neuerthelater in the daye when I vyset. I wyll vyset their synne vpon them.
