²⁵ Husbandes loue youre wyues, euen as Christe loued the congregation, and gaue him selfe for it,

²⁴ For this cause shal a man leue father & mother, & cleue vnto hys wyfe, & they shal be one flesh.

⁶⁷ Then Isaac broughte hir into hys mother Saras tente, and toke Rebecca, and she became hys wyfe. & he loued hir: & so was Isaac comforted ouer hys mother.

³ But the pore had nothynge saue one lytle lamb which he bought & noryshed vp. And it grew vp with hym and hys chyldren, and dyd eate of hys owne meate and drancke of hys owne cuppe, and slept in hys bosome, & was as dere vnto hym as hys doughter.

¹⁸ Let thy well be blessed, and be glad wyth the wyfe of thy youth. ¹⁹ Louyng is the hind, & frendly is the Roo: let her brestes alway satisfye the, and holde the euer content wyth her loue.

²⁸ euen as the sonne of man came not to be minnistred vnto, but to minister, and to geue his life for the redempcion of many.

¹⁹ And he toke bread, gaue thankes brake it, & gaue it to them, saiynge: This is my body which is geuen for you. This is the remembraunce of me. ²⁰ Lykewyse also, when they had supped he toke the cup saiynge: This cup is the newe testamente in my bloude, whiche shall for you be shed.

⁵¹ I am that lyuinge bread: which came doune from heauen. If any man eate of this bread, he shall lyue for euer. And the bread that I wyll geue is my flesh, which I will geue for the life of the worlde.

²⁸ Take hede therfore vnto youre selues, and to all the flocke wherof the holy ghoste hath made you ouersears, to rule the congregacyon of God, which he hath purchased wt hys bloude.

⁴ whiche gaue hym selfe for oure synnes, to delyuer vs from thys present euyll worlde, thorow the wyll of God our father,

²⁰ I am crucyfyed with Christ. I lyue verelye: yet now not I, but Christe lyueth in me. For the lyfe which I now lyue in the, flesh I lyue by the faythe of the sonne of God whiche loued me, and gaue hym selfe for me.

² and walke in loue euen as Christe loued vs, and gaue hym selfe for vs, an offeringe, and a sacrifice of a swete sauoure to God.

²⁸ So ought men to loue theyr wyues, as their owne bodies. He that loueth hys wyfe, loueth him selfe.

³³ Neuerthelesse do ye so that euerye one of you loue his wyfe truely euen as hym selfe: And let the wyfe se that she feare her husbande.

¹⁹ Husbandes loue your wyues, and be not bitter vnto them.

⁶ which gaue hym self a raunsome for al men, that it shoulde be testifyed at hys tyme,

¹⁸ For as muche as ye know howe that ye were not redemed wyth corruptyble syluer and golde, from youre vayne conuersacyon whiche ye receyued by the tradicyons of the fathers: ¹⁹ but wyth the precyous bloud of christ as of a lambe vndefyled, and wythout spotte, ²⁰ whiche was ordeyned before the worlde was made, but was declared in the laste tymes for youre sakes, ²¹ whiche by hys meanes haue beleued on God that raysed hym from death, & gloryfyed hym, that youre faythe and hope myght be in God.

⁷ Lykewyse ye men dwell wyth them accordynge to knoweledge, geuynge honoure vnto the wyfe, as vnto the weaker vessell, and as vnto them that are heyres also of the grace of lyfe, that youre prayers be not let.

⁵ and from Iesus Christ, whiche is a faythfull wytnes, and fyrst begotten of the dead, and Lorde ouer the kynges of the earth. Vnto him, that loued vs and washed vs from synnes in his owne bloude,

⁹ and they songe a new songe saiyng: thou art worthy to take the boke, and to open the seales therof: for thou wast kylled, & hast redemed vs by thy bloud out of al kynredes, and tonges, and people, and nacions
