⁹ Vnderstande therefore, that the Lord thy God he is god & that a true god, which kepeth pointment and mercy vnto them that loue him and kepe hys commaundementes, euen thorowe oute a thousande generations

⁴ I prayed before the Lorde my God, and knowledged, sayinge: O Lorde, thou greate and fearfull God, thou that kepest couenaunt and mercye wyth them, whiche loue the, and do thy commaundementes.

²⁸ For we knowe that all thynges worke for the beste vnto them that loue God, whyche also are called of purpose.

⁹ For God is faythfull, by whome ye are called vnto to the felowshyppe of hys sonne Iesus Christ oure Lorde.

³ But yf anye man loue God, the same is knowen of hym.

¹⁸ God is faithfull. For oure preaching vnto you, was not yea & nay.

²⁴ Faythfull is he whiche called you: which wyl also do it.

³ but the Lorde is faythfull, whiche shall stablyshe you, and kepe you from euyll.

¹³ Yf we beleue not yet abydeth he faythfull. He can not deny hym selfe.

² vpon the hope, of eternall lyfe, whiche lyfe God that can not lye, hath promysed before the worlde beganne:

¹⁸ that by two immutable thynges (in which it was vnpossyble that GOD shaulde lye) we myghte haue perfecte consolacyon, whiche haue fled, for to holde faste the hope that is set before vs,

²³ and let vs kepe the professyon of our hope, wythout wauerynge (for he is faithful that promysed)

¹¹ Thorow fayth Sara also receyued strength to be with chyld, and was delyuered of a child when she was past age, because she iudged hym faythfull which had promysed.

⁹ If we knowledge oure sinnes, he is faythfull and iust, to forgeue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from al vnrightuousnes.
