³⁵ Vnto the it was shewed, that thou mightest know, howe that the lorde he is God & that there is none but he.

¹¹ Who is lyke vnto the O Lorde amonge goddes: who is lyke the so gloryous in holynes, fearfull, laudable & that shewest wondres?

³⁹ Vnderstand therefore thys daye & turne it to thyne herte, that the Lord he is God in heauen aboue, & vpon the earth beneth there is no mo:

²³ I wyll heape mischeues vpon them & wyl spend al myne arrowes at them.

³⁹ Se nowe howe that I, I am he, and that there is no God but I. I can kyll and make a lyue, and what I haue smytten that I can heale: neyther is there that can deliuer anye man out of my hande.

² There is none so holye as the Lorde: no there is none saue thou. Neyther is there any strength like vnto our God.

⁴⁵ Then sayd Dauid to the Philistine: thou camest to me with a swerde, a speare & shild, but I come to the in the name of the Lorde of hostes, the God of the hoste of Israell whom thou hast rayled vpon. ⁴⁶ This day shal the Lorde delyuer the into my hande, and I shall smyte the and take thyne head from the, and I will geue the karcases of the hoste of the Philistines this day vnto the foules of the ayre and to the beastes of the earth, and al the worlde shal knowe, that there is a God in Israel. ⁴⁷ And al this congregacyon shal know, that the Lorde saueth not wyth the swerde and speare. ³⁶ And when offeringe time was come, Eliah the prophete went to and sayde: Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and of Israel, let it be knowen thys daye, that thou art the God in Israel, and that I am thy seruaunt, and that I do al these thinges at thy commaundement. ³⁷ Heare me O lorde, heare me, that this people may know, that thou lord, art the God, and that thou hast turned their hertes backward.

¹⁹ Nowe therfore Lorde our God, saue thou vs oute of his hande, that all the kingdomes of the earth may knowe, that thou Lorde art God alone.

¹¹ So that men shall saye, verelye there is a rewarde for the righteous: doutles, there is a God that iudgeth the earth.

¹⁸ That they may know that thou art alone that thy name is the Lorde, & that thou onely art the moost hyest ouer all the earth.

⁶ Moreouer, thus hath the Lorde spoken: euen the Kynge of Israel, and his auenger, the Lorde of Hostes: I am the fyrst & the last, and with out me is there no God.

⁸ yee and that without any feare or stoppe. For haue not I euer tolde you hytherto, and warned you? Ye can beare me recorde youre selues. Is there any God excepte me? or any maker, that I shuld not knowe hym.

⁵ Euen I the Lorde, before whom there is none other: for without me, tere is no God. I haue prepared the or euer thou knewest me

¹⁸ For thus sayeth the Lorde: euen he that created heauen, the God that made the earth, that fashioned it, & sett it forth: I haue not made it for naught, but I made it to be enhabited Euen I the Lorde, wythout whom there is none other.

²² And therfore turne you vnto me (all ye endes of the earth) so shall ye be saued, for I am God, and there is els none.

²⁹ Iesus aunswered hym: the fyrst of al the commaundementes is. Heare Israel: The Lorde God is one Lorde.

³² And the Scribe sayd vnto him: wel master thou haste sayde the trueth, that there is one God, & that there is none but he.

²⁰ We know, that the sonne of God is come, & hath geuen vs a minde to know him which is true, & we are in him, that is true thorowe his sonne Iesus Christ. This same is verye God, and eternal lyfe. ²¹ Babes kepe your selues from Images. Amen.
