⁵ And it chaunced on the morowe that theyr rulars, and elders, and scribes,

¹⁰ Heare the worde of the Lorde ye tyrauntes of Sodoma, and herken vnto the lawe of oure God, thou people of Gomorra.

¹ O wo vnto them, that Imagyn to do harme, & deuyse vngracyousnesse vpon their beddes, to perfourme it in the cleare daye: for there power is agaynst God.

¹ When the morning was come, al the chief priestes & the elders of the people held a counsell agaynste Iesus, to put hym to death, ² & broughte hym bounde and delyuered hym vnto Poncius Pilate the debitie.

¹ And anone in the daunynge the hye priestes helde a counsel with the elders, and the scribes, and the whole congregacion & bounde Iesus and ledde hym awaye, & delyuered hym to Pilate.

¹ And it fortuned in one of those dayes as he taught the people in the temple, & preached the gospel: the hye priestes & the scribes came with the elders,

⁶⁶ And assone as it was daye the elders of the people and the hyghe priestes an scribes came together, and ledde him into their counsell saiynge:

¹³ And Pilate called together the hye priestes and the rulers, and the people,

²⁰ And howe the hye priestes and oure rulers delyuered him to be condempned to death: and haue crucifyed him.

⁸ Then Peter full of the holy ghost sayed vnto them: ye rulars of the people, and elders of Israel,

²⁰ go, steppe forthe, and speake in the temple to the people all the wordes of this lyfe. ²¹ When they heard that, they entred into the temple early in the mornynge and taught. The chiefe Prieste came & they that were with him, and called a counsell together, and all the elders of the children of Israell, & sent to the prison to fetche them.

³⁴ Then stode ther vp one in the counsel, a pharisey named Gamaliel, a doctoure af law, had in aucthorite amonge all the people, and commaunded to put the Apostles a syde a litel space,

¹² And they moued the people and the elders and the scribes: and came vpon him and caught hym,
