¹⁵ and haue hope towardes God that the same resurreccyon of the dead (which they them selues loke for also) shall be both of iuste and vniuste.

²⁵ For I am sure, that my redemer liueth & that I shal ryse out of the earth in the latter day: ²⁶ that I shal be clothed againe wyth thys skynne, & se God in my fleshe.

² Many of them that slepe in the dust of the earth, shal awake: some to euerlastinge lyfe, some to perpetual shame and reprofe.

³¹ As touchyng the resurreccion of the dead: haue ye not reade what is sayd vnto you of God which sayth: ³² I am Abrahams God, and Isaacks God. & the God of Iacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the liuynge.

²⁸ Maruaile not at this, the houre shall come in the which all that are in the graues, shal heare his voice, ²⁹ and shall come forth: they that haue done good, vnto the resurreccion of lyfe, and they that hath done euil, vnto the resurreccion of damnacion.

⁶ When Paule perceyued that the one part were Saduces, and the other Pharyses: he cryed oute in the counsell: Men and brethren, I am a Pharisey, the sonne of a Pharysey. Of the hope and resurreccyon from death. I am iudged. ⁷ And when he had so sayde, there arose a debate betwene the Pharyseis and the Saduces, and the multytude was deuyded: ⁸ For the Saduces saye, that there is no resurreccyon, neyther aungell, nor spirite. But the Pharyseis graunte both.

²¹ excepte it be for thys one voyce that I cryed standynge amonge them, of the resurreccyon from death, am I iudged of you thys daye.

⁶ and now I stand, & am iudged for the hope of the promis made of God vnto our fathers ⁷ vnto whyche promys our .xij. trybes instantlye, seruynge God daie and nighte hope to come. For whiche hopes sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Iewes.

²⁰ For thys cause haue I called for you, euen to se you, and to speake wyth you: because that for the hope of Israell, I am bounde wyth thys chayne. ²¹ And they saide vnto him: We neyther receiued letters out of Iewrye partaininge vnto the, neyther came any of the brethren that shewed or spake anye harme of the. ²² But we wyll heare of the what thou thynkest. For we haue hearde of this secte that euery where it is spoken agaynste. ²³ And when they had appoynted him a daye, there came manye vnto him into hys lodgynge, to whom he expounded and testifyed the kingedome of God, and preached vnto them of Iesu: both out of the Prophetes, euen from morninge to nyghte. ²⁴ And some beleued the thinges, whyche were spoken, and some beleued not. ²⁵ When they agreed not amonge them selues, they departed, after that Paule had spoken one word: Welspake the holy ghoste by Esay the prophet vnto youre fathers, saiyng: go vnto thys people, ²⁶ and saye: wyth youre eares shall ye heare, & shall not vnderstande: and wyth youre eies shal ye se and shall not perceiue. ²⁷ For the hert of this people is waxed grosse and their eares were thicke of hearinge, and theyr eyes haue they closed: lest they should se with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstande with their hertes, and should be conuerted, and I should heale them. ²⁸ Be it knowen therfore vnto you, that this saluation of God is sente to the gentyls, and they shall heare it. ²⁹ And when he had sayed that, the Iewes departed, and had greate despicions among them selues. ³⁰ And Paule dwelt two yeares full in his lodgynge, and receyued all that came to hym, ³¹ preaching those thynges, whyche concerned the Lorde Iesus wyth all confydence vnforboden.

¹² If Christe be preached howe that he rose from death: howe saye some? that are amonge you, that there is no resurreccion from death? ¹³ If ther be no rysinge agayne from death, then is Christe not rysen. ¹⁴ If Christ be not rysen, then is our preachinge vayne, and your faith is also in vaine. ¹⁵ Ye and we are founde false witnesses of God. For we haue testifyed of God, howe that he raysed vp Christe, whom he raysed not vp yf it be so that the deade ryse not vp againe. ¹⁶ For yf the dead rise not againe then is Christ not rysen againe. ¹⁷ Yf it be so that Christe rose not, then is youre faith in vayne, and yet are ye in youre synnes. ¹⁸ And ther to they which are fallen a slepe in Christ, are peryshed. ¹⁹ If in thys lyfe onelye we beleue on Christ, then are we of all men the miserablest. ²⁰ But now in Christ rysen from the dead, and is become the fyrste fruytes of them that slepte. ²¹ For by a man came death, and by a man came the resurceccion of the dead. ²² For as by Adam all dye: euen so by Christe, shall all be made aliue, ²³ and euery man in his owne order. The fyrste is Christe, then they that are Christes at his comminge. ²⁴ Then commeth the ende when he hath delyuered vp the kyngedome to God the father, when he hath put doune all rule, authoritie, and power. ²⁵ For he muste reigne tyll he haue put all hys enemies vnder his fete. ²⁶ The laste enemy that shalbe destroied is death. ²⁷ For he hath put all thinges vnder hys fete. But when he sayeth, all thinges are put vnder hym it is manifest that he is excepted, whyche dyd put all thinges vnder him.

²¹ whiche shal chaunge oure vyle bodies, that they maie be fashioned like vnto his glorious bodie, accordinge to the working, wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto him selfe.

¹⁴ For yf we beleue that Iesus Christe dyed and rose agayne euen so them also, whyche slepe by Iesus, wyl God brynge agayn with hym. ¹⁵ And thys saye we vnto you in the worde of the Lorde, that we whyche lyue and are remaynynge in the commynge of the Lorde, shal not come yerre they which slepe. ¹⁶ For the Lord hym selfe shall descende from heauen with a shoute, and the voice of the Archangell and trompe of God. And the deade in Christ shall arise fyrste:

⁶ Blessed & holy is he that hath part in the fyrst resurreccyon. For on suche shall the seconde death haue no power, for they shalbe the priestes of God and of christe, and shall raygne wyth hym a thousande yeare.

¹² And I sawe the deade, both great and small stande before God: & the bokes were opened, & an other boke was opened, which is the boke of lyfe, and the dead were iudged of those thynges: which were wrytten in the bokes accordyng to theyr deedes: ¹³ & the sea gaue vp her deade, which were in her, & death & hel delyuered vp the deade which were in them: & they were iudged euery man according to hys deedes.
