⁹ Neuerthelesse the pryestes of the hilaulters myght not come at the aulter of the Lorde in Ierusalem, saue only they dyd eate of the swete breade amonge their brethren.

³⁶ And they that are lefte in thyne house, shall come & crouche to hym for a lytle pece of syluer & a cake of bread, and shall saye: put me I praye the in one offyce, or other amonge the priestes, that I may eate a morsell of bread.

¹⁰ No ner the Leuites that be gone backe frome, and haue dysceyued the people of Israell wyth all erroures, goinge after their ydoles: therfore shall they beare their owne wyckednes. ¹¹ Shulde they be set & ordened to mynystre vnder the dores of the house of my Sanctuarye? And to do seruyce in the house: to slaye burntoffringes and sacrifyces for the people: to stande before them, and to serue them: ¹² seynge the seruyce that they do them, is before their Idoles, and cause the house of Israell to stomble thorowe the wyckednes? For the whych cause I haue pluckte out myne hande ouer them (sayeth the Lorde) so that now they must beare their owne iniquyte, ¹³ and not to come nye me, to serue me with their presthode, in my Sanctuarye, and moost holyest of all: that they maye beare their owne shame & abhomynacyons, which they haue done. ¹⁴ Shulde I vse them to be porters of the house, and to all the seruyce that is done therin?

²⁹ The meatoffrynge, synoffrynge & trespaceoffrynge shall they eate, and euery dedycate thing in Israel, shalbe theirs. ³⁰ The firstlynges of all the first fruytes, & all fre wil offrynges shall be the prestes. Ye shal geue vnto the preste also the firstlynges of youre dowe, that God maye prospere the resydue. ³¹ But no deed caryon shall that perst eate, ner soch as is deuoured of wylde beastes, foules or catell.

⁸ But as for you, ye are gone cleane out of the waye, & haue caused the multitude to be offended at the lawe: ye haue broken the couenaunt of Leui, sayeth the Lord of hostes. ⁹ Therfore wil I also make you to be despised, and to be of no reputacion among al the people, because ye haue not kepte my wayes, but bene parcial in the lawe.
