⁵ So that kynge Salomon offered .xxij. thousand oxen, and an hundred and twentye thousand shepe. And so the kynge & all the people halowed the house of God.

¹⁰ And the princes offered vnto the dedycatyng of the alter in the daye that it was anoynted, and brought their giftes before the alter.

⁶² And the kyng and al Israel wyth him, offered offerynges before the Lorde. ⁶³ And the peace offerynges that Salomon offered vnto the Lorde, were .xxij. thousand oxen & an hundred and twentye thousande shepe. And so the kynge and al the chyldren of Israel dedicated the house of the Lorde.

²¹ And they offered offerynges vnto the Lorde. And on the morowe after the sayde daye, they offered in burntofferynges vnto the Lord a thousand oxen, a thousand rammes & a thousand lambes with their drynckeofferynges. An they slue plenteouslye thorowout all Israel,

⁶ And Salomon offered there before the Lorde vpon the brasen aulter that was by the tabernacle of wytnesse, a thousand burntsacrifyces.

⁴ that I may builde an house for the name of the Lorde my God, to consecrate it to hym to burne swete odours & to set shewbread before hym perpetuallye, & for burntsacrifyce mornynge and euenyng, & on the Saboth dayes, and the fyrst daye of euery newe mone, and in the solempne feastes of the Lorde oure God, so to continue euer in Israel.

⁶ And king Salomon and all the congregacyon of Israel that were assembled vnto hym before the arck, offered shepe and oxen, so manye that they coulde not be tolde or numbred for multitude.

¹¹ And they offered vnto the Lord that same time of the spoyle whych they had brought .vij. hundred oxen and .vij. thousand shepe.

³² And the numbre of the burntofferynges which the congregacion brought in was .lxx. oxen & an hundred rammes & two hundred lambes: & all for burntofferynges to the Lorde. ³³ And besyde that they dedicated sixe hundred oxen and thre thousand shepe.

²⁴ For Hezekiah kynge of Iuda gaue for heaue offrynges to the congregacion a thousand oxen and seuen thousand shepe. And the Lorde gaue to the congregacyon for heaueoffrynges a thousand oxen and ten thousand shepe. And the preastes sanctifyed them selues, that they were ynowe.

⁷ And Iosiah gaue to the comen people in lambes and kyddes, for passe ouer offeringes onlye, vnto all that were present .xxx. thousande by tale, & thre thousande oxen, euen of the kynges substaunce. ⁸ And his Lordes gaue wyllynglye both vnto the people & also vnto the preastes & vnto the Leuites. Helkiah, Zachariah & Iehiel, rulers of the house of God, gaue vnto the preastes for passeouerofferynges two thousand & syxe hundred lambes & kyddes, and thre hundred oxen. ⁹ And Conaniah with semeiah & Nathaneel his brethren, and Hasabiah and Iaiel & Iosabad Lordes of the Leuites, gaue vnto the Leuites fyue thousadde passeouer offerynge, and fyue hundred oxen.

¹⁶ And the children of Israel, the pryestes, the Leuites, & the other children of the captiuyte helde the dedicacion of the house of God with ioye, ¹⁷ and offered at the dedycacion of the house of God, an hundred calues, two hundred lambes, four hundred goates: and for the synofferinge for all Israell twelue he goates, accordinge to the nombre of the trybes of Israel,

¹⁷ Agayne, it shall be the prynces parte to offre burntofferynges, meatofferynges and drynckoffrynges vnto the Lorde, in the holy dayes, new Moones, Sabbathes, and in all the hye feastes of the house of Israell. The synoffrynge, meatoffrynge, brentofferynge and healthoffrynge shall he geue, to reconcyle the house of Israell.

⁷ Hath the Lorde a pleasure in many thousand rammes, or innumerable streames of oyle? Or shal I geue my fyrstborne for myne offences, and the fruyte of my body for the synne of my soule?
