²⁰ And he toke the calfe whyche they had made and burned it wyth fyre, and stampte it vnto powder and strawed it in the water & made the children of Israel drynke.

³⁰ And I wyll destroy your alters bylt vpon hye hylles, and ouerthrow youre images and caste youre carkasses vpon the bodyes of your idolles, and my soule shall abhorre you.

⁵ But thus ye shall deale wyth them: ouerthrow theyr alters, breake downe theyr pyllers cut downe their groues and burne their ymages wyth fyre.

²¹ And I toke your synne, the calfe whyche ye had made & burnt him wt fyre & stamped him & ground him a good, euen vnto smal dust. And I cast the dust therof into the broke that descended out of the mount.

⁴ so that they brake doune the aulters of Baals euen in his presence, and the ydoles that were vpon them, he caused to be destroyed. And the groues, kerued Images, & Images of metall he brake and made dust of them, and strawed it vpon the graues of them that had offered to them.

³ so that yf any of them prophecy any more, hys owne father and mother that begat him, shal saye vnto him: Thou shalt dye, for thou speakest lyes vnder the name of the Lord: yea his owne father and mother that begat him, shal wound him, when he prophecieth.

³⁷ He that loueth hys father, or mother more then me, is not mete for me. And he that loueth hys sonne or doughter more then me, is not mete for me.

⁴⁶ Whyle he yet talked to the people: beholde his mother and his brethren stode without, desyrynge to speake with hym. ⁴⁷ Then one sayd vnto: beholde thy mother and brethren stande without, desyrynge to speake with the. ⁴⁸ He aunswered and sayd to hym that tolde him: Who is my mother? ¹ When Iesus had spoken these wordes, he wente forth with his disciples ouer the broke Cedron, where was a garden into the whiche he entred with his discyples.

¹⁶ Wherfore hence forthe knowe we no man after the fleshe. In so muche though we haue knowen Christe after the fleshe, nowe hence forth knowe we hym so no more.

⁵ To whom we gaue no roume, no not for the space of an houre, as concernynge to be brought into subieccion, & that because that the truth of the Gospel might contynue with you. ⁶ Of them whiche seme to be great (what they were in time passed, it maketh no matter to me: God loketh on no mans person) neuerthelesse they which seme great, added nothing to me.

¹⁴ But when I sawe, that they went not the ryghte waye after the truth of the Gospell, I sayde vnto Peter before all men, yf thou beynge a Iew, lyuest after the maner of the Gentyls, and not as do the Iewes: why causeste thou the Gentyls to lyue as do the Iewes?
