¹⁴ as soon as he perceiv'd them, he said to them, go shew yourselves to the priests. and on the way they found themselves cured.

¹⁵ and Jesus answer'd, Let it be so for the present, for it becometh us to do whatever is right. then John consented.

³ and Jesus held out his hand and touched him, saying, I will, be thou clean. and immediately he was cured of his leprosy. ⁴ and Jesus said to him, take care not to tell any man, but go thy way, shew thy self to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, that it may be a testimony against them.

¹⁴ and he charg'd him not to tell any man: but go, said he, present your self to the priest, and offer what the law requires for your purification, that it may be an evidence to them.

⁵ upon which his mother bid the servants do whatever he should order.

⁵⁰ go thy way, said Jesus: thy son is well. and the man believed what Jesus had said to him, and went his way. ⁵¹ as he was upon the road, his servants met him, and acquainted him, that his son was well. ⁵² then he enquired of them the hour when he began to mend: and they answered, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. ⁵³ so the father knew that it was at the very same hour, at which Jesus said to him, thy son is well. and he himself believed, and all his family.

⁷ and said to him, go wash in the pool of Siloam (a word which signifies sent.) so he went and washed, and came seeing.
