1 On the morrow after the Sabbath, early in the morning, they came unto the tomb and brought the odours which they had prepared, and other women with them. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre, 3 and went in: but found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were amazed thereat, behold, two men stood by them, in shining vestures. 5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here: but is risen. Remember how he spake unto you, when he was yet with you in Galilee, 7 saying that the son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again." 8 And they remembered his words, 9 and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the remnant. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary Joseph; And others that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles, 11 and their words seemed unto them feigned things, neither believed they them.

John 20:1-2

1 The morrow after the Sabbath day, first of Sabbaths, came Mary Magdalene early when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran, and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said unto them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb and we cannot tell where they have laid him."

John 20:18

18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken such things unto her.
