The second to Jedaiah. 8 The third to Harim. The fourth to Seorim. 9 The fifth to Malcijah. The sixth to Mijamin. 10 The seventh to Hakkoz. The eighth to Abijah. 11 The ninth to Jeshua. The tenth to Shecaniah. 12 The eleventh to Eliashib. The twelfth to Jakim. 13 The thirteenth to Huppah. The fourteenth to Jeshebeab. 14 The fifteenth to Bilgah. The sixteenth to Immer. 15 The seventeenth to Hezir. The eighteenth to Happizzez. 16 The nineteenth to Pethahiah. The twentieth to Jehezkel. 17 The twenty-first to Jachin. The twenty-second to Gamul. 18 The twenty-third to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth to Maaziah. 19 This is the order of them in their offices, to come into the house of the LORD according to their manner under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel commanded. 20 The rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael. Of the sons of Shubael, Jehdiah. 21 Of the sons of Rehabiah, the first, Isshiah. 22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth. Of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath. 23 And the sons of Hebron were Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth. 24 Of the sons of Uzziel, Micah. Of the sons of Micah, Shamir. 25 The brother of Micah was Isshiah. Of the sons of Isshiah, Zachariah. 26 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Jaaziah, Beno. 27 The sons of Merari: by Jaaziah. Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri. 28 Mahli had Eleazar which had no sons. 29 The sons of Kish: Jerahmeel. 30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. These are of the children of Levi in the households of their fathers. 31 And these cast lots next to their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech and the ancient heads and priests of the Levites: as well the youngest brother as an ancient head.

Matthew 21:23-27

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, "By what authority doest thou these things? And who gave thee this power?" 24 Jesus answered, and said unto them, "I also will ask of you a certain question, which, if ye assoil me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John: whence was it? From heaven, or of men?" Then they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we shall say from heaven; he will say unto us, 'Why did ye not then believe him?' 26 But and if we shall say of men; then fear we the people. For all men held John as a prophet." 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, "We cannot tell." And he likewise said unto them, "Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Matthew 26:55

55 The same time said Jesus to the multitude, "Ye be come out as it were unto a thief, with swords and staves for to take me: daily I sat among you teaching in the temple, and ye took me not.

1 And it fortuned after that, that he himself went throughout cities and towns, preaching, and showing the kingdom of God, and the twelve with him.
