¹² "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do: the same shall he do; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father.

²¹ Jesus answered, and said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, if ye shall have faith, and shall not doubt, ye shall not only do that which I have done to the fig tree: but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, take thyself away, and cast thyself into the sea, it shall be done.

¹³ and he spied a fig tree afar off, having leaves, and went to see whether he might find anything thereon: but when he came thereto, he found nothing but leaves. For the time of figs was not yet.

¹⁷ And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils, and shall speak with new tongues,

¹⁷ And the seventy returned again with joy saying, Lord, even the very devils are subdued to us through thy name. ¹⁸ And he said unto them, "I saw Satan, as it had been lightning, fall down from heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents, and scorpions, and over all manner power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

³³ Then said Jesus unto them, "Yet am I a little while with you, and then go I unto him that sent me.

³⁹ This spake he of the spirit, which they that believed on him should receive. For the holy ghost was not yet there, because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

²⁸ "Ye have heard how I said unto you, 'I go and come again unto you.' If ye loved me, ye would verily rejoice, because I said I go unto the father. For the father is greater than I.

⁷ "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go away. For if I go not away, that comforter will not come unto you. But if I depart, I will send him unto you.

⁴ and they were all filled with the holy ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, even as the spirit gave them utterance. ⁵ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, which were of all nations under heaven. ⁶ When this was noised about, the multitude came together and were astonished, because that every man heard them speak his own tongue. ⁷ They wondered all, and marveled: saying among themselves, "Behold, are not all these which speak of Galilee? ⁸ And how hear we every man his own tongue wherein we were born? ⁹ Parthians, Medes, and Elamites and the inhabiters of Mesopotamia, of Jewry and of Cappadocia, of Pontus and of Asia; ¹⁰ Phrigia, Pamphylia, and of Egypt, and of the parts of Libya, which is beside Cyrene; And strangers of Rome; ¹¹ Jews and converts, Greeks and Arabians: We have heard them speak with our own tongues the great works of God."

³³ Since now that he by the righthand of God exalted is, and hath received of the father the promise of the holy ghost, he hath shed forth that which ye now see and hear.

⁴¹ Then they that gladly received his preaching were baptised; And the same day, there were added unto them about a three thousand souls.

⁶ Then said Peter, "Silver and gold have I none: such as I have, give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." ⁷ And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up. And immediately his feet and anklebones received strength, ⁸ and he sprang, stood, and also walked, and entered with them into the temple: walking, and leaping, and lauding God.

⁴ Howbeit, many of them, which heard the words, believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

⁹ if we this day are examined of the good deed done to the sick man by what means he is made whole: ¹⁰ be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, and whom God raised from death again, even by him doth this man stand here present before you whole. ¹¹ This is the stone cast aside of you builders which is set in the chief place of the corner. ¹² Neither is there salvation in any other. Nor yet also is there any other name given to men wherein we must be saved."

¹⁶ saying, "What shall we do to these men? For a manifest sign is done by them, and is openly known to all them that dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it:

³³ And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was with them all.

¹⁵ insomuch that they brought the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and pallets: that at the least way the shadow of Peter, when he came by, might shadow some of them.

⁷ And the word of God increased, and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly. And a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

⁷ For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed of them. And many taken with palsies, and many that halted, were healed.

³⁴ Then said Peter unto him, "Aeneas, the Lord Jesus Christ make thee whole: Arise and make thy bed." And he arose immediately.

⁴⁰ And Peter put them all forth and kneeled down and prayed and turned him to the body, and said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

⁴⁶ For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

¹⁸ And this did she many days. But Paul, not content, turned about and said to the spirit, "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ that thou come out of her." And he came out the same hour.

¹² So that from his body were brought unto the sick, napkins or partlets, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

¹⁹ in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the spirit of God: so that from Jerusalem and the coasts round about, unto Illyricum, I have filled all countries with glad tidings of Christ.

¹⁰ to another, power to do miracles; to another prophecy; to another, judgment of spirits; to another divers tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: ¹¹ and these all worketh even the self same spirit, dividing to every man several gifts even as he will.
