¹ Hearken unto me, ye that follow righteousness and seek the LORD. Look unto the rock ye were cut out, and to the cave and pit ye were digged out.

¹⁵ And God said unto Abraham, "Sarai, thy wife, shall no more be called Sarai: but Sara shall her name be. ¹⁶ For I will bless her and give thee a son of her; and will bless her so that people, yea and kings of people, shall spring of her." ¹⁷ And Abraham fell upon his face and laughed, and said in his heart, "Shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old? And shall Sara, that is ninety years old, bear?"

⁶ This is the generation of them that seek him, even of them that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah

¹⁵ And why? Judgment shall be turned again unto righteousness, and all such as are true in heart shall follow it.

³ Give his holy name a good report; let their hearts rejoice that seek the LORD. ⁴ Seek the LORD, and his strength; seek his face evermore.

⁹ The way of the ungodly is an abomination unto the LORD; but whoso followeth righteousness, him he loveth.

²¹ Whoso followeth righteousness and mercy, findeth both life, righteousness and honour.

¹⁹ I have not spoken secretly, neither in dark places of the earth. It is not for naught, that I said unto the seed of Jacob, "Seek me." I am the LORD which, when I speak, declareth the thing that is righteous and true.

³ Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all ye that remain yet of the household of Israel, whom I have borne from your mother's womb, and brought you up from your birth, till ye were grown: ⁴ I, I which shall bear you unto your last age, I have made you; I will also nourish you, bear you and save you.

¹² Hearken unto me O Jacob, and Israel whom I have called. I am even he that is, I am the first and the last.

⁴ Hearken unto me, my people; and turn your ears to me, my folk. There shall a law go out from me, and my judgment will I establish to be a light unto nations.

⁷ Hearken unto me ye that know righteousness, and so let the people that have my law in their hearts. Fear not the rebukes of man neither faint for their blasphemies.

² Wherefore do ye lay out your money, for the thing that feedeth not, and spend your labour about the thing that satisfieth you not? But hearken rather unto me, and ye shall eat of the best, and your soul shall have her pleasure in plenteousness. ³ Incline your ears, and come unto me, take heed, and your soul shall live. For I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

⁶ Seek the LORD, while he may be found, and call upon him while he is nigh.

⁶ Seek the LORD, that ye may live: lest the house of Joseph be burnt with fire and consumed, and lest there be none to quench Bethel.

³ Yea, or the day of the LORD's sore displeasure come upon you. Seek the LORD, all ye meek hearted upon earth, ye that work after his judgment: seek righteousness, seek lowliness, that ye may be defended in the wrathful day of the LORD.

⁶ Blessed are they which hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they shall be filled.

³³ But rather, seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and the righteousness thereof; and all these things shall be ministered unto you.

³⁰ What shall we say then? We say that the gentiles which followed not righteousness, have overtaken righteousness: I mean, the righteousness which cometh of faith. ³¹ But Israel, which followed the law of righteousness, could not attain unto the law of righteousness. ³² And wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith: but as it were, by the works of the law. For they have stumbled at the stumbling stone.

¹⁹ Let us follow those things which make for peace: and things wherewith one may edify another.

¹¹ Wherefore, remember that ye, being in time past gentiles in the flesh, and were called "uncircumcision" to them which are called "circumcision" in the flesh — which circumcision is made by hands - ¹² remember, I say, that ye were at that time without Christ, and were reputed aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and were strangers from the testaments of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in this world.

¹³ Brethren, I count not myself that I have gotten it: but one thing I say: I forget that which is behind me, and stretch myself unto that which is before me;

¹¹ But thou, which art the man of God, flee such things. Follow righteousness, godliness, love, patience, and meekness.

²² Lusts of youth avoid, and follow righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with them that call on the Lord with pure heart.

¹⁴ Embrace peace with all men, and holiness; without the which, no man shall see the Lord.
