²⁰ "and how our high priest and ruler delivered him to be condemned to death and crucified him.

¹ And when the morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus, how they might put him to death. ² After they had bound him, they led him away, and handed him over to Pilate, the Roman Governor.
