²² God has put all things under Christ's feet, and placed him as Head over all in the church,

⁹ And for this God highly exalted him, and graciously bestowed upon him the name which is above every name; ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth should bend, ¹¹ and every tongue confess that "Jesus Christ is Lord," to the glory of God the Father.

² has at the end of these days spoken to us in a Son whom he appointed heir of all things; through whom also he made the universe.

⁸ Thou hast put all things under his feet. For this putting all things under man means leaving nothing not subject to him. But we do not yet see all things subject to him. ⁹ What we do see is Jesus, who was made for a time a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of death, in order that through God's grace he might taste death for every man.

²² He is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; to Him angels and authorities and powers have been made subject.
