Zechariah 13:9 Cross References - MLV

⁹ And I will bring the third part into the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried. They will call on my name and I will hear them. I will say, It is my people and they will say, Jehovah is my God.

¹² And I will walk among you* and will be your* God and you* will be my people.

⁴⁴ And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly and to break my covenant with them, for I am Jehovah their God, ⁴⁵ but for their sakes I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Jehovah.

¹⁷ You have avowed Jehovah to be your God this day and that you would walk in his ways and keep his statutes and his commandments and his ordinances and listen to his voice.
¹⁸ And Jehovah has avowed you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you and that you should keep all his commandments, ¹⁹ and to make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise and in name and in honor and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, as he has spoken.

¹⁰ But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I will come out as gold.

¹⁵ The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer. ¹⁶ (The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.)
¹⁷ They cried and Jehovah heard and delivered them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ Jehovah is near to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a crushed spirit.
¹⁹ The afflictions of the righteous are many, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.

¹⁵ And call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you and you will glorify me.

¹⁰ Because you, O God, have proved us. You have tried us as silver is tried.
¹¹ You brought us into the net. You laid a great burden upon our loins. ¹² You caused men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water. But you brought us out into a wealthy place.

¹⁵ He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.

¹⁵ the people who are in such a case are fortunate.
The people whose God is Jehovah are fortunate.

³ The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but Jehovah tries the hearts.

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

¹ Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant and Israel, whom I have chosen. ² Jehovah says thus who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Do not fear, O Jacob my servant and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. ³ For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty and streams upon the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit upon your seed and my blessing upon your offspring. ⁴ And they will spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses. ⁵ One will say, I am Jehovah's and another will call himself by the name of Jacob and another will subscribe with his hand to Jehovah and surname himself by the name of Israel.
⁶ Jehovah says thus, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first and I am the last and besides me there is no God.

¹⁰ Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.

⁹ Then you will call and Jehovah will answer, you will cry and he will say, Here I am. If you take the yoke away from the midst of you, the putting forth of the finger and speaking wickedly,

²³ They will not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity. For they are the seed of the praised of Jehovah and their offspring with them.
²⁴ And it will happen that, before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you*, says Jehovah, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you* hope in your* latter end. ¹² And you* will call upon me and you* will go and pray to me and I will listen to you*.

²² And you* will be my people and I will be your* God.

³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Jehovah: I will give my laws into their mind and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.

³⁸ And they will be my people and I will be their God.

²⁰ that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. And they will be my people and I will be their God.

²⁸ And you* will dwell in the land that I gave to your* fathers and you* will be my people and I will be your* God.

²⁷ My tabernacle will also be with them and I will be their God and they will be my people.

²¹ And it will happen in that day, I will answer, says Jehovah. I will answer the heavens and they will answer the earth, ²² and the earth will answer the grain and the new wine and the oil and they will answer Jezreel. ²³ And I will sow her to me in the earth. And I will have mercy upon her who had not obtained mercy. And I will say to those who were not my people, You are my people and they will say, My God.

³² And it will happen, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Jehovah has said and among the remnant those whom Jehovah calls.

⁸ And I will bring them and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they will be my people and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁶ And I will strengthen the house of Judah and I will save the house of Joseph and I will bring them back. For I have mercy upon them and they will be as though I had not cast them off. For I am Jehovah their God and I will hear them.

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication. And they will look to me whom they have pierced. And they will mourn for him, as a man mourns for his only son and will be in bitterness for him, as a man who is in bitterness for his firstborn.

² But who can abide the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like launder's soap.
³ And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them as gold and silver. And they will offer to Jehovah offerings in righteousness.

²⁹ But Jesus answered and said to them, You are being misled, by not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. ³⁰ For they neither marry, nor are betrothed in the resurrection, but are like messengers of God in heaven. ³¹ But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what has been said to you by God, saying, ³² I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

²¹ And it will be, that everyone, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord, will be saved.’

¹² For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, being rich toward all who are calling upon him; ¹³ for everyone, ‘Whomever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.’ ¹⁴ Therefore how will they call upon him in whom they have not believed? But how will they believe of whom they have not heard? But how will they hear without someone preaching?

¹¹ For no one is able to lay another foundation beside what is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ¹² But if anyone is building on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw, ¹³ the work of each one will become apparent. For the day will indicate it, because it is revealed in fire, and the fire will test the work of each one, of what sort it is.

¹⁰ Because this one is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will be giving my laws into their mind and I will be writing them upon their hearts. And I will be a God to them and they will be covenanted into a people for me;

¹² The fortunate man who is enduring temptation, because having become approved, he will be receiving the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

⁶ In which hope you are glad now for a few moments, if it is essential, you have been made sorrowful in various tests, ⁷ in order that the trial of your faith, ( being much more precious than gold, which perishes), even now being tested through fire, may be found for praise and honor and to glory in the revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹² Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, happening to you for a test, as though a strange thing is befalling to you.

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will be residing with them and they will be his people and God will be with them. ⁴ And he will be wiping-away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no death anymore. There will be no mourning, no crying, no pain anymore because the first things have passed away.

⁷ He who overcomes will be inheriting these things, and I will be his God and he will be a son to me.
