⁴ He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully.

⁵ And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only continually evil.

¹⁹ And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, you are drawn away and worship them and serve them, which Jehovah your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

³⁰ If I wash myself with snow water and make my hands ever so clean,

⁹ Yet the righteous will hold on his way. And he who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.

⁴ in whose eyes those who reject God are despised, but who honors those who fear Jehovah, he that swears to his own hurt and changes not,

²⁰ Jehovah has rewarded me according to my righteousness. According to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me.

¹ To you, O Jehovah, I lift up my soul.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will encompass your altar, O Jehovah,

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.

¹ Surely God is good to Israel, to such as are pure in heart.

⁸ Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, because I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, because I lift up my soul to you.

⁹ Who can say, I have made my heart clean. I am pure from my sin?

¹⁵ And when you* spread forth your* hands, I will hide my eyes from you*. Yes, when you* make many prayers, I will not hear; your* hands are full of blood. ¹⁶ Wash you*, make you* clean, put away the evil of your* practices from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

¹⁵ He who walks righteously and speaks in uprightness. He who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes away his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil.
¹⁶ He will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the munitions of rocks. His bread will be given. His waters will be sure.

¹⁴ O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?

² And though they say, As Jehovah lives, surely they swear falsely.

⁹ Will you* steal, murder and commit adultery and swear falsely and burn incense to Baal and walk after other gods that you* have not known, ¹⁰ and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name and say, We are delivered, that you* may do all these abominations?

⁶ and has not eaten upon the mountains, nor has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, nor has defiled his neighbor's wife, nor has come near to a woman in her impurity,

¹⁵ who has not eaten upon the mountains, nor has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, has not defiled his neighbor's wife,

³ Then he said to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole land. For everyone who steals will be cut off on the one side according to it and everyone who swears will be cut off on the other side according to it. ⁴ I will cause it to go forth, says Jehovah of hosts and it will enter into the house of the thief and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it will abide in the midst of his house and will consume it, with the timber of it and the stones of it.

⁵ And I will come near to you* to judgment and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against the false swearers and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the fatherless and who turn aside the traveler and do not fear me, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁸ The clean in heart are fortunate, because they will be seeing God.

¹⁵ and saying, Men! Why are you doing these things? We are also human, of like-feelings with you and are proclaiming the good-news to you : to turn away from these futile things to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all things in them;

⁹ and he made no distinction between us and them in the faith, having cleansed their hearts.

¹ Therefore beloved, having these promises, we should cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God.

¹⁰ for fornicators, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers and if any other thing which lays in opposition to sound teaching;

⁸ Therefore I will that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and evil reasoning.

⁸ Draw near to God and he will be drawing near to you. Cleanse your hands sinners and purify your hearts you indecisive!

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and there is no sea anymore. ² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven of God, having been prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will be residing with them and they will be his people and God will be with them. ⁴ And he will be wiping-away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no death anymore. There will be no mourning, no crying, no pain anymore because the first things have passed away.

²⁷ And any desecrated thing or anyone practicing an abomination and a lie may never enter into it; except those who have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life may enter into it.

¹⁴ The fortunate ones are practicing his commandments, in order that their authority will be in the Tree of Life and they may enter in by the gates into the city.
¹⁵ The dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices a lie are outside.
