To have respect of persons in judgment is not good.

¹⁵ You* will do no unrighteousness in judgment. You will not respect the person of the poor man, nor honor the person of the mighty man, but you will judge your neighbor in righteousness.

¹⁷ You* will not respect persons in judgment. You* will hear the small and the great alike. You* will not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God's. And the case that is too hard for you* you* will bring to me and I will hear it.

¹⁹ You will not distort justice. You will not respect persons, neither will you take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

⁷ Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you*. Take heed and do it. For there is no unrighteousness with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.

² How long will you* judge unjustly and respect the persons of the wicked? Selah.
³ Judge the poor man and the orphan. Do justice to the afflicted and destitute man. ⁴ Rescue the poor and needy man. Deliver him from the hand of the wicked man.

⁴³ He who is wise will give heed to these things and they will consider the loving kindnesses of Jehovah.

⁵ To respect the person of a wicked man is not good, nor to turn aside a righteous man in judgment.

¹⁷ Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise and apply your heart to my knowledge.

²¹ To have respect of persons is not good, nor that a man should transgress for a piece of bread.

¹ Who is as the wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man's wisdom makes his face to shine and the hardness of his face is changed.
² I say, Keep the king's command and that because of the oath of God. ³ Do not be hasty to go out of his presence. Persist not in an evil matter, because he does whatever pleases him. ⁴ For the king's word has power and who may say to him, What are you doing? ⁵ He who keeps a commandment will know no evil thing. And a wise man's heart discerns the time and decision.

⁹ Who is wise, that he may understand these things, prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Jehovah are right and the just will walk in them. But transgressors will fall in them.

²⁴ Do not judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

²⁰ Reprove those who are sinning in the sight of all, in order that the rest may also have fear. ²¹ I am thoroughly testifying in sight of God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the chosen messengers, in order that you should observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing according to bias.

⁴ And did you not discern among yourselves and then became judges from evil reasonings?
⁵ Listen, my beloved brethren. Did God not choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to those who love him? ⁶ But you have dishonored the poor. Are the rich not oppressing you? And are they themselves not dragging you into the courts?

¹⁷ But the wisdom which is from above is indeed first pure, thereafter is peaceful, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and non-pretended.

¹⁷ And if you call upon the Father, who impartially judges according to the work of each one, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your foreign residency here;
