⁵ And they said, If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Bring us not over the Jordan.

¹⁹ Behold now, your servant has found favor in your sight and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me and I die.

³⁷ Also Jehovah was angry with me for your* sakes, saying, You also will not go in there.

²⁵ Let me go over, I beseech you and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that pleasant mountain and Lebanon.
²⁶ But Jehovah was angry with me because of you* and did not listen to me. And Jehovah said to me, It will be enough for you. Speak no more to me of this matter.
