Matthew 21:1 Cross References - MLV

¹ And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, toward the Mountain of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples,

⁴ And his feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives will be split in the midst of it toward the east and toward the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain will remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.

³ Now when he sat upon the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the world?

³⁰ And having sung a hymn, they went out to the Mountain of Olives.

¹ And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, toward the Mountain of Olives, he sends two of his disciples, ² and says to them, Go into the village which is in front of you and immediately when you travel into it, you will find a colt that has been tied upon which no man has sat; when you have loosed it, lead it here. \ulnone\nosupersub ³ And if anyone says to you, Why are you doing this? Say that the Lord has need of him, and immediately he will send it here. ⁴ Now they went away and found a colt that has been tied at the door outside in the road, and they loose him.
⁵ And some of those who are standing there were saying to them, What are you doing, loosening the colt?
⁶ And they said to them just-as Jesus had commanded and they let them leave. ⁷ And they led the colt to Jesus and cast their garments upon it, and he sat upon it. ⁸ But many spread their garments upon the road, and others were cutting down foliage from the trees and were spreading them in the road. ⁹ And those who precede him and those who followed him, were crying out, saying, Hosanna; he who comes in the name of the Lord has been blessed. ¹⁰ The kingdom which is coming in the name of the Lord of our father David has been blessed. Hosanna in the highest.

²⁶ And having sung a hymn, they went out to the Mountain of Olives.

²⁸ And having said these things, he was traveling on before them, going up to Jerusalem.
²⁹ And it happened, as he drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, toward the mountain which is called Olives, he sent two of his disciples, ³⁰ saying, Go into the village in front of me; in which, traveling to it; you will find a colt that has been tied, on which no man has sat at any time. Lead it here; having loosed him. ³¹ And if anyone asks you, Why are you loosening him? You will say to him thus, The Lord has need of him. ³² Now those who have been sent went away, and found just-as he had said to them.
³³ And while loosening the colt, its lords said to them, Why are you loosening the colt?
³⁴ Now they said, The Lord has need of it. ³⁵ And they lead it to Jesus, and having tossed forth their own garments upon the colt, they mounted Jesus upon it. \ulnone\nosupersub ³⁶ Now while traveling there, they were spreading their garments in the road. ³⁷ Now as he was already drawing near, even to the slope of the Mountain of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began rejoicing, and to praise God with a loud voice concerning all the miracles which they had seen; ³⁸ saying, The King who is coming in the name of the Lord has been blessed; peace in heaven and glory in the highest.

³⁷ Now every day, he was teaching in the temple, and every night he went out and was camping in the mountain, being called Olives.

³⁹ And he, coming out and according to his custom, traveled to the Mountain of Olives, and his disciples also followed him.

¹ but Jesus traveled to the Mountain of Olives.

¹² Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olives, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey off.
