11 Judah has dealt treacherously and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For Judah has profaned the holiness of Jehovah which he loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god.

Genesis 6:1-2

Leviticus 20:26

26 And you* will be holy to me, for I, Jehovah, am holy and have set you* apart from the peoples, that you* should be mine.

Deuteronomy 7:3-6

3 Neither will you make marriages with them. Your daughter you will not give to his son, nor his daughter will you take to your son. 4 For he will turn away your son from following me, that they may serve other gods, so the anger of Jehovah will be kindled against you* and he will destroy you quickly.

Deuteronomy 33:26-29

1 Kings 11:1-8

6 And Solomon did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah and went not fully after Jehovah as did David his father. 7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab on the mountain that is before Jerusalem and for Molech the abomination of the sons of Ammon. 8 And so he did for all his foreign wives, who burnt incense and sacrificed to their gods.

Ezra 9:1-2

1 Now when these things were done, the rulers drew near to me, saying, The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians and the Amorites. 2 For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the peoples of the lands. Yes, the hand of the heads and rulers has been chief in this trespass.

29 Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood and of the Levites.

Psalms 106:28

Psalms 106:34-39

34 They did not destroy the peoples, as Jehovah commanded them, 35 but mingled themselves with the nations and learned their works, 36 and served their idols, which became a snare to them.
