⁴⁴ Now he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, being still together with you, that it is essential for all things to be fulfilled, which have been written in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms, concerning me.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel.

¹⁸ And Melchizedek King of Salem brought out bread and wine. And he was priest of God Most High.

¹⁸ and in your seed will all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.

¹⁰ The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and to him will the obedience of the peoples be.

² and Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother, that he not come at all times into the holy place within the veil, before the mercy-seat which is upon the ark, that he not die, for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-seat.
³ Aaron will come into the holy place this way: with a young bullock for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering. ⁴ He will put on the holy linen tunic and he will have the linen breeches upon his flesh and will be girded with the linen sash and he will be attired with the linen miter. They are the holy garments and he will bathe his flesh in water and put them on. ⁵ And he will take from the congregation of the sons of Israel two male-goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.
⁶ And Aaron will present the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself and make atonement for himself and for his house. ⁷ And he will take the two goats and set them before Jehovah at the door of the tent of meeting. ⁸ And Aaron will cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for Jehovah and the other lot for the scapegoat. ⁹ And Aaron will present the goat upon which the lot fell for Jehovah and offer him for a sin offering.
¹⁰ But the goat, on which the lot fell for the scapegoat, will be set alive before Jehovah, to make atonement for him, to send him away for the scapegoat into the wilderness.
¹¹ And Aaron will present the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself and will make atonement for himself and for his house and will kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself. ¹² And he will take a censer full of coals of fire from the altar before Jehovah and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small and bring it within the veil. ¹³ And he will put the incense upon the fire before Jehovah, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy-seat that is upon the testimony, that he not die. ¹⁴ And he will take of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy-seat on the east. And he will sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times before the mercy-seat.
¹⁵ Then he will kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people and bring his blood within the veil and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it upon the mercy-seat and before the mercy-seat. ¹⁶ And he will make atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel and because of their transgressions, even all their sins. And so he will do for the tent of meeting that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleannesses.
¹⁷ And there will be no man in the tent of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his household and for all the assembly of Israel. ¹⁸ And he will go out to the altar that is before Jehovah and make atonement for it. And will take of the blood of the bullock and of the blood of the goat and put it upon the horns of the altar all around. ¹⁹ And he will sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times and cleanse it and sanctify it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.

⁸ And Jehovah said to Moses, You make a fiery serpent and set it upon a standard. And it will happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, will live.

²⁵ And the congregation will deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood and the congregation will restore him to his city of refuge where he fled. And he will dwell in it until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

¹⁵ Jehovah your God will raise up for you a prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, like me. You* will listen to him, ¹⁶ according to all that you desired of Jehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Do not let me hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die. ¹⁷ And Jehovah said to me, They have well said what they have spoken.
¹⁸ I will raise up a prophet for them from among their brothers, like you. And I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them all that I will command him. ¹⁹ And it will happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he will speak in my name, I will require it of him.

¹ Why do the nations rage and the peoples meditate vain things? ² The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, against Jehovah and against his anointed, saying, ³ Let us break their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.
⁴ He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will mock them. ⁵ Then he will speak to them in his wrath and distress them in his great displeasure.
⁶ Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. ⁷ I will tell of the decree. Jehovah said to me, You are my Son, this day I have fathered you. ⁸ Ask of me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the outermost parts of the earth as your possession. ⁹ You will smash them with a rod of iron, you will dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
¹⁰ Now therefore be wise, O you* kings. Be instructed, you* judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest he is angry and you* perish in the way, because his wrath will soon be kindled. All those who take refuge in him are fortunate.

⁹ Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. My flesh also will dwell in hope.
¹⁰ Because you will not leave my soul to Sheol, nor will you allow your holy man to see corruption.
¹¹ You made known to me the path of life. You will fill me of joy with your countenance.

¹ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, far from helping me and the words of my groaning? ² O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you do not answer; and in the night, and there is no silence for me. ³ But you are holy, O you who inhabit the praises of Israel.
⁴ Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted and you delivered them. ⁵ They cried to you and were delivered. They trusted in you and were not put to shame.
⁶ But I am a worm and no man, a reproach of men and despised by the people. ⁷ All those who see me laugh me to scorn. They shoot out the lip. They shake the head, saying, ⁸ He trusted on Jehovah. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, because he delights in him.
⁹ Because you are he who took me out of the womb. You made me trust upon my mother's breasts. ¹⁰ I was cast upon you from the womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.
¹¹ Do not be far from me, because trouble is near, because there is none to help. ¹² Many bulls have encompassed me. Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me around. ¹³ They opened wide their mouth upon me, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
¹⁴ I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me. ¹⁵ My strength is dried up like an earthen vessel and my tongue clings to my jaws and you have set me into the dust of death.
¹⁶ Because dogs have encompassed me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet. ¹⁷ I may count all my bones. They look and stare upon me. ¹⁸ They part my garments among them and they cast a lot upon my raiment.
¹⁹ But be not far off, O Jehovah. O you my helper, you hasten to help me. ²⁰ Deliver my soul from the sword, the only one of me from the power of the dog. ²¹ Save me from the lion's mouth, yes, from the horns of the wild-oxen. You have answered me.
²² I will declare your name to my brothers. I will praise you in the midst of the congregation. ²³ You* who fear Jehovah, praise him. All you* the seed of Jacob, glorify him and stand in awe of him, all you* the seed of Israel.
²⁴ Because he has not despised nor made abominable the affliction of the afflicted, neither has he hid his face from him, but when he cried to him, he heard.
²⁵ From you comes my praise in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him. ²⁶ The meek will eat and be satisfied. They will praise Jehovah who seek after him. Let your* heart live forever.
²⁷ All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Jehovah and all the kinfolk of the nations will worship before you. ²⁸ Because the kingdom is Jehovah's and he is the ruler over the nations.
²⁹ All the fat ones of the earth will eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust will bow before him, even he who cannot keep his soul alive. ³⁰ A seed will serve him. It will be told of the Lord to the next generation. ³¹ They will come and will declare his righteousness to a people that will be born, that he has done it.

⁶ Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me. Whole burnt offering and sacrifice for sin you did not require. ⁷ Then I said, Behold, I have come as it is written of me in the scroll of a book.
⁸ I delight to do your will, O my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.

¹ Save me, O God, because the waters have come in to my soul. ² I sink in deep mud where there is no standing. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
³ I am weary with my crying. My throat is dried. My eyes fail while I wait for my God.
⁴ Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who would cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I did not take away.
⁵ O God, you know my foolishness and my sins are not hid from you. ⁶ Do not let those who wait for you, be put to shame through me, O lord Jehovah of hosts. Do not let those who seek you, be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.
⁷ Because for your sake I have borne reproach, shame has covered my face. ⁸ I have become a stranger to my brothers and an alien to my mother's sons.
⁹ Because the zeal of your house has eaten me up and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen upon me.
¹⁰ When I wept in my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. ¹¹ When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a parable to them. ¹² Those who sit at the gate talk of me and I am the song of the drunkards.
¹³ But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Jehovah. Answer me in the truth of your salvation in an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your loving kindness,.
¹⁴ Deliver me out of the mud and do not let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me and out of the deep waters. ¹⁵ Do not let the water flood overwhelm me, nor let the deep swallow me up. And do not let the pit shut its mouth upon me.
¹⁶ Answer me, O Jehovah, because your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies turn to me, ¹⁷ and do not hide your face from your servant, because I am in distress. Answer me speedily. ¹⁸ Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
¹⁹ You know my reproach and my shame and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you. ²⁰ Reproach has broken my heart and I am full of heaviness. And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none. ²¹ They also gave me gall for my food and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
²² Let their table be a trap before them, and to those at peace, let it be a snare.
²³ Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see and bow down their back continually.
²⁴ Pour out your indignation upon them and let the fierceness of your anger overtake them. ²⁵ Let their habitation be desolate. Let none dwell in their tents.
²⁶ Because they persecute he whom you have struck and they tell of the sorrow of those whom you have wounded. ²⁷ Add iniquity to their iniquity and do not let them come into your righteousness.
²⁸ Let them be blotted out of the book of life and not be written with the righteous.
²⁹ But I am poor and sorrowful. Let your salvation, O God, set me up on high. ³⁰ I will praise the name of God with a song and will extol him with thanksgiving, ³¹ and it will please Jehovah better than an ox, or a bullock that has horns and hoofs.
³² The meek have seen it and are glad. You* who seek after God, let your* heart live. ³³ Because Jehovah hears the needy and does not despise his prisoners.
³⁴ Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and everything that moves in it. ³⁵ Because God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah. And they will abide there and have it in possession. ³⁶ The seed also of his servants will inherit it and those who love his name will dwell in it.

¹ Give the king your judgments, O God and your righteousness to the king's son. ² He will judge your people with righteousness and your poor with justice.
³ The mountains will bring peace to the people and the hills, in righteousness. ⁴ He will judge the poor of the people.
He will save the sons of the needy and will break in pieces the oppressor. ⁵ They will fear you while the sun endures and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
⁶ He will come down like rain upon the mowed grass, as showers that water the earth. ⁷ In his days righteousness will flourish and abundance of peace, till the moon is no more.
⁸ He will also have dominion from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.
⁹ Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before him and his enemies will lick the dust.
¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will render tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba will offer gifts. ¹¹ Yes, all kings will fall down before him. All nations will serve him.
¹² Because he will deliver a needy man when he cries and a poor man, who has no helper. ¹³ He will have pity on a poor and needy man and he will save the souls of the needy.
¹⁴ He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. And their blood will be precious in his sight, ¹⁵ and they will live. And to him will be given of the gold of Sheba. And men will pray for him continually. They will praise him all the day long.
¹⁶ There will be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains. The fruit of it will shake like Lebanon. And they from the city will flourish like the grass of the earth.
¹⁷ His name will endure everlasting. His name will be continued as long as the sun. And men will call him fortunate. All nations will call him fortunate.
¹⁸ Praise Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. ¹⁹ And praise his glorious name everlasting. And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Truly and Truly.
²⁰ The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

¹ O Jehovah, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you. ² Let my prayer enter into your presence. Incline your ear to my cry.
³ Because my soul is full of troubles and my life draws near to Sheol. ⁴ I am reckoned with those who go down into the pit. I am as a man who has no help, ⁵ cast off among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more and they are cut off from your hand.
⁶ You have laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the depths. ⁷ Your wrath lays hard upon me and you have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.
⁸ You have put my acquaintances far from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am shut up and I cannot come forth.
⁹ My eye wastes away because of affliction. I have called daily upon you, O Jehovah, I have spread forth my hands to you.
¹⁰ Will you show wonders to the dead? Shall those who are deceased arise and praise you? Selah.
¹¹ Shall your loving kindness be declared in the grave, or your faithfulness in destruction? ¹² Shall your wonders be known in the dark and your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
¹³ But to you, O Jehovah, I have cried and in the morning my prayer will come before you. ¹⁴ Jehovah, why do you cast off my soul? Why do you hide your face from me? ¹⁵ I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer your terrors I am confounded. ¹⁶ Your fierce wrath has gone over me. Your terrors have cut me off.
¹⁷ They came all around me like water all the day long. They encompassed me around together. ¹⁸ You have put beloved and friend far from me and my acquaintances into darkness.

⁴ They are my adversaries instead of my love, but I make prayer. ⁵ And they have rewarded me evil for good and hatred for my love.
⁶ Set a wicked man over him and let an adversary stand at his right hand. ⁷ When he is judged, let him come out guilty and let his prayer be turned into sin. ⁸ Let his days be few and let another take his office.
⁹ Let his sons be fatherless and his wife a widow. ¹⁰ Let his sons be vagabonds and beg and let them seek out of their desolate places. ¹¹ Let a creditor exact all that he has and let strangers make spoil of his labor.
¹² Let there be none to prolong kindness to him, nor let there be any to have pity on his fatherless sons. ¹³ Let his posterity be cut off. Let their name be blotted out in the following generation.
¹⁴ Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah and do not let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
¹⁵ Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth, ¹⁶ because he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man and the broken in heart, to kill.
¹⁷ Yes, he loved cursing and it came to him. And he did not delight in blessing and it was far from him.
¹⁸ He also clothed himself with cursing as with his garment and it came into his inward parts like water and like oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as the garments with which he covers himself and for the belt with which he is girded continually.
²⁰ This is the reward of my adversaries from Jehovah and of those who speak evil against my soul.

¹ Jehovah says to my Lord, Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. ² Jehovah will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies. ³ Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning you have the dew of your youth.
⁴ Jehovah has sworn and will not repent. You are a everlasting priest after the order of Melchizedek.
⁵ The Lord at your right hand will strike through kings in the day of his wrath. ⁶ He will judge among the nations. He will fill with dead bodies. He will strike through the head in many countries. ⁷ He will drink of the brook in the way, therefore he will lift up the head.

²² The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself will give you* a sign: Behold, a virgin will conceive and bear a son and will call his name Immanuel.

⁶ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.

¹ And there will come out a shoot out of the stock of Jesse. And a branch out of his roots will bear fruit. ² And the Spirit of Jehovah will rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah. ³ And his delight will be in the fear of Jehovah. And he will not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears, ⁴ but with righteousness he will judge the poor and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.
And he will kill* the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked. ⁵ And righteousness will be the belt of his waist and faithfulness the belt of his loins.
⁶ And the wolf will dwell with the lamb and the leopard will lie down with the kid and the calf and the young lion and the fatten one together and a little child will lead them. ⁷ And the cow and the bear will feed; their young ones will lie down together. And the lion will eat straw like the ox. ⁸ And the sucking child will play on the hole of the adder and the weaned child will put his hand on the adder's den.
⁹ They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters cover the sea.
¹⁰ And there will be a root of Jesse in that day and he who arises to rule over the Gentiles. In him will the Gentiles hope and his resting place will be glorious.

¹⁶ Therefore thus says the lord Jehovah, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner- stone, a sure foundation. He who believes in him will never be shamed.

¹ Comfort you*, comfort my people, says your* God. ² Speak comfortably to Jerusalem and cry to her, that her warfare has been completed, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins.
³ The voice of a man crying out in the wilderness, Prepare the way of Jehovah, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
⁴ Every valley will be exalted and every mountain and hill will be made low. And the crooked will become straight and the rough places smooth. ⁵ And the glory of Jehovah will be revealed and all flesh will see it together. For the mouth of Jehovah has spoken it.
⁶ The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass and all the goodness of it is as the flower of the field. ⁷ The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of Jehovah blows upon it. Surely the people is grass. ⁸ The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand everlasting.
⁹ O you who tell good news to Zion, get up on a high mountain. O you who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up, do not be afraid, say to the cities of Judah, Behold, your* God!
¹⁰ Behold, the lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him and his recompense before him. ¹¹ He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those who have their young.

¹ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights. I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. ² He will not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street. ³ A bruised reed he will not break and a dimly burning wick he will not quench, but he will bring forth justice in truth. ⁴ He will not fail nor be discouraged till he has set justice in the earth. And in his name Gentiles will hope.

¹ Listen, O isles, to me and listen, you* peoples from far. Jehovah has called me from the womb. From the guts of my mother he has made mention of my name. ² And he has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hid me in the shadow of his hand and he has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.
³ And he said to me, You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified. ⁴ But I said, I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity. Yet surely the justice due to me is with Jehovah and my recompense with my God.
⁵ And now says Jehovah who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him and that Israel be gathered to him (for I am honorable in the eyes of Jehovah and my God has become my strength), ⁶ yes, he says, It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.
⁷ Jehovah says thus, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers. Kings will see and arise, rulers and they will worship, because of Jehovah who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.
⁸ Jehovah says thus, In an acceptable time I have heard you and in a day of salvation I have helped you. And I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages,

² Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water and die for thirst. ³ I clothe the heavens with blackness and I make sackcloth their covering.
⁴ The lord Jehovah has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words he who is weary. He awakens morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. ⁵ The lord Jehovah has opened my ear and I was not rebellious, nor turned away backward. ⁶ I gave my back to the strikers and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair. I did not hide my face from shame and spitting.

¹³ Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up and will be very high.

¹ The Spirit of the lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind and the opening of bonds to those who are bound, ² to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, ³ to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch and he will reign as king and deal wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

¹⁴ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.

²² The lord Jehovah says thus: I will also take of the lofty top of the cedar and will set it. I will crop off a tender one from the topmost of its offshoots and I will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain.

²³ And I will set up one shepherd over them and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them and he will be their shepherd.

⁴⁴ And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will the sovereignty of it be left to another people, but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it will stand forever.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of heaven someone like a son of man. And he came even to the ancient of days and they brought him near before him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish transgression and to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness and to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
²⁵ Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the anointed one, the Prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troublesome times.
²⁶ And after the sixty-two weeks the anointed one will be cut off and will have nothing. And the people of the prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary and the end of it will be with a flood. And even to the end will be war; desolations are determined. ²⁷ And he will make a firm covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And upon the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate. And even to the full end and that determined, wrath will be poured out upon the desolate.

⁷ But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah and will save them by Jehovah their God and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
⁸ Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son. ⁹ And Jehovah said, Call his name Lo-ammi, for you* are not my people and I will not be yours*.
¹⁰ Yet the number of the sons of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered. And it will happen that, in the place where it was said to them, You* are not my people, it will be said to them, The sons of the living God. ¹¹ And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together and they will appoint themselves one head and will go up from the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king and will come with fear to Jehovah and to his goodness in the latter days.

²⁸ And it will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and your* sons and your* daughters will prophesy. Your* old men will dream dreams. Your* young men will see visions. ²⁹ And also I will pour out my Spirit upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days. ³⁰ And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. ³¹ The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and wonderful day of Jehovah comes.
³² And it will happen, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Jehovah has said and among the remnant those whom Jehovah calls.

¹¹ In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen and close up the breaches of it. And I will raise up its ruins and I will build it as in the days of old,

¹ Now you will gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops. He has laid siege against us. They will kill* the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
² But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, which are little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of you he will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from long-ago, from the days of everlasting.
³ Therefore he will give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth. Then the residue of his brothers will return to the sons of Israel. ⁴ And he will stand and will feed his flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God and they will abide. For now he will be great to the ends of the earth.

⁷ And I will shake all nations and the delight of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁸ The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁹ The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says Jehovah of hosts and in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of hosts.

¹² And speak to him, saying, Thus speaks Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch. And he will grow up out of his place and he will build the temple of Jehovah,

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, your king comes to you. He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon a donkey, even upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

⁸ And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was weary of them and their soul also loathed me. ⁹ Then I said, I will not feed you*. What dies, let it die and what is to be cut off, let it be cut off and let those who are left eat each one the flesh of another.
¹⁰ And I took my staff Beauty and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples. ¹¹ And it was broken in that day and thus the poor of the flock who gave heed to me knew that it was the word of Jehovah.
¹² And I said to them, If you* think good, give me my wage and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my wage thirty pieces of silver. ¹³ And Jehovah said to me, Cast it to the potter, the good price that I was valued by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of Jehovah.

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication. And they will look to me whom they have pierced. And they will mourn for him, as a man mourns for his only son and will be in bitterness for him, as a man who is in bitterness for his firstborn.

⁷ Awake, O sword, against my shepherd and against the man who is my companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

⁴ And his feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives will be split in the midst of it toward the east and toward the west, a very great valley. And half of the mountain will remove toward the north and half of it toward the south.

¹ Behold, I send my messenger and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom you* seek, will suddenly come to his temple. And the messenger of the covenant, whom you* desire, behold, he comes, says Jehovah of hosts. ² But who can abide the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like launder's soap.
³ And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them as gold and silver. And they will offer to Jehovah offerings in righteousness.

² But to you* who fear my name the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in its wings and you* will go forth and frolic as calves of the stall. ³ And you* will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your* feet in the day that I make, says Jehovah of hosts.
⁴ You* remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
⁵ Behold, I will send you* Elijah the prophet before the great and fearful day of Jehovah comes. ⁶ And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I come and kill* the earth with a curse.

²¹ Jesus began to show to his disciples from then on, that it is essential for him to go to Jerusalem and to suffer many things from the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to arise in the third day.

²² Now while conducting work in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man is about to be given up into the hands of men; ²³ and they will be killing him, and he will be arisen in the third day. And they were extremely sorrowful.

¹⁸ Behold, we go into Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the high-priests and scribes, and they will be condemning him to death, ¹⁹ and they will be giving him to the Gentiles, that they should mock and scourge and crucify him, and in the third day he will rise again.

⁵⁴ Therefore how might the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it is essential to happen as thus?

⁵⁶ But this whole thing has happened, in order that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples left him and fled.

³¹ And he began to teach them, that it is essential for the Son of Man to suffer many things and to be rejected by the elders and the high-priests and the scribes, and be killed, and to rise up after three days. ³² And he was speaking the word frankly. And Peter took him and began to rebuke him.

³¹ For he was teaching his disciples and was saying to them, The Son of Man is to be given up into the hands of men, and they will be killing him, and having been killed, he will be risen in the third day.

³³ saying, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the high-priests and the scribes, and they will be condemning him to death and will be giving him to the Gentiles, ³⁴ and they will be mocking him and will be scourging him and will be spitting on him and will be killing him, and he will rise up in the third day.

²² saying, It is essential for the Son of Man to suffer many things, and to be rejected by the elders and high-priests and scribes, and to be killed and to rise in the third day.

⁴⁴ Place these words into your ears; for the Son of Man is about to be given up into the hands of men.

³¹ Now having taken the twelve with him and said to them, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things which have been written through the prophets will be completed by the Son of Man. ³² For he will be given up to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and will be insulted and will be spit on; ³³ and having scourged, they will be killing him, and he will be rising up in the third day. ³⁴ And they understood none of these things, and this declaration was being hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were said.

²² Because these are days of vengeance, that all things which have been written may be fulfilled.

³⁷ For I say to you, that it is essential for this to still be completed in me, which has been written, ‘And he was counted with the lawless'; for the things concerning me must have an end.

⁶ He is not here, but was raised. Remember how he spoke to you, being still in Galilee, ⁷ saying that it is essential for the Son of Man to be given up into the hands of sinful men and to be crucified and to rise up in the third day?

²⁶ Was it not essential for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into his glory? ²⁷ And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he was clarifying for them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

⁴⁶ And he said to them, Thus it has been written, that it was essential for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead in the third day;

¹⁴ And just-as Moses who exalted the serpent in the wilderness, so it is essential for the Son of Man to also be exalted;

³⁹ You are searching the Scriptures because you think that in them you have everlasting life, and these are those which are testifying concerning me;

⁴⁶ For if you believed in Moses, you would believe in me; for that man wrote concerning me.

⁴ But I have spoken these things to you, that whenever the hour has come, you may remember them, that I spoke them to you. Now I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. ⁵ But now I am going to the one who sent me, and none out of you asks me, Where are you going?

¹⁶ A little while and you do not view me, and again a little while and you will see me, because I am going to the Father.
¹⁷ Therefore, some out of his disciples said to one another, What is this thing which he says to us, A little while and you do not view me, and again a little while and you will see me. Also, Because I am going to the Father?

¹¹ And I am no more in the world and yet these are in the world and I am coming to you.


Holy Father, keep them in your name whom you have given me, in order that they may be one, just-as we are one. \ulnone\nosupersub ¹² When I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in your name whom you have given me. I guarded them and not one out of them perished, except the son of destruction; in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled. ¹³ But now I am coming to you, and I speak these things in the world, in order that they may have my joy, having been fulfilled in themselves.

²⁴ Therefore they said to one another, We should not split-apart this tunic, but should do a lot concerning it; whose it will be. This happened in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which says, ‘They divided my garments for themselves and they cast a lot upon my garment.’Therefore indeed, the soldiers did these things. ²⁵ But, his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary the Magdalene stood beside the cross of Jesus.
²⁶ Therefore, when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple, whom he loved, standing beside her, he says to his mother, Woman, behold your son! ²⁷ Thereafter he says to the disciple, Behold, your mother! And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.

{Mar 15:34-41 & Mat 27:46-56 & Luk 23:45-49 & Joh 19:28-30 around 5:00 PM.} ²⁸ After this Jesus, having seen that all things have been completed, in order that the Scripture might be completed, which says, ‘I am thirsty.’ ²⁹ Therefore, a vessel was laying full of vinegar, and having filled a sponge with vinegar and having placed it around a hyssop, they brought it to his mouth. ³⁰ Therefore, when Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, It has been completed. And having bowed his head and he gave up the spirit.


³¹ Therefore the Jews asked Pilate, in order that the bodies should not remain upon the cross upon the Sabbath since it was the Preparation, (for the day of that Sabbath was a great day), that their legs might be fractured and that they might be taken away. ³² Therefore, the soldiers came, and indeed fractured the legs of the first and of the other one who was crucified together with him, ³³ but when they came upon Jesus, as they saw he was already dead, they did not fracture his legs; ³⁴ but one of the soldiers pierced his ribs with a spear and immediately blood and water came out. ³⁵ And he who has seen, has testified and his testimony is true and he knows that he says true things, in order that you might believe. ³⁶ For these things happened in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, ‘A bone of him will not be crushed.’ ³⁷ And again a different Scripture says, ‘They will be looking at the one whom they stabbed.’

¹⁸ But what God proclaimed beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that the Christ was to suffer, he thus fulfilled.

²² Moses indeed said to the fathers, The Lord our God will rise up for you a prophet from among your brethren, like me. You will listen to him according to all things, as many things as he may speak to you. ²³ And it will be, that every soul if it does not listen to that prophet, will be utterly destroyed from among the people. ²⁴ But even all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed afterwards, as many as have spoken, also spoke of these days.

³⁷ This is that Moses, who said to the sons of Israel, The Lord our God will raise up to you a prophet out of your brethren, like me.

²⁹ Now as they completed all things which have been written concerning him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. ³⁰ But God raised him up from the dead; ³¹ and he was seen on many days by those who came up together with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.

³³ as it has also been written in the second Psalm, ‘You are my Son; I have fathered you today.’

² Now according to his custom, Paul entered to them and upon three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures, ³ opening and placing before them that it was essential for the Christ to have suffered and to have risen up from the dead, and that this Jesus, whom I am proclaiming to you, is the Christ.

³ For I gave to you first, what I also received: that Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the Scriptures; ⁴ and that he was buried, and that he has been raised up on the third day according to the Scriptures.

⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in his whole house as a bondservant for a testimony of the things which will be spoken later;

¹ For this Melchizedek, King of Salem, priest of the Highest God, who met Abraham returning from the butcher of the kings and blessed him,

⁸ The Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the holy of holies has still not been manifested, while the first tabernacle still has a standing.

¹ For the law, having a shadow of the future good things, (not the same image of the matters), they are never able to complete those who come near with the same continual sacrifices which they are offering every year.

¹¹ searching what time or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating, when testifying beforehand of the sufferings for Christ and the glories following after these things.

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, See that you do not do that. I am a fellow bondservant of you and of your brethren who are holding the testimony of Jesus. Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
