¹ How the gold has become dim, the most pure gold changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street.

⁹ And he burnt the house of Jehovah and the king's house. And all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, he burnt with fire. ¹⁰ And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls of Jerusalem all around.

²¹ How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.

¹² How you are fallen from heaven, O daystar, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, who laid the nations low!

¹³ And he burned the house of Jehovah and the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem. Even every great house, he burned with fire.

¹⁹ Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches. Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young sons, who faint for hunger at the head of every street.

¹⁹ They will cast their silver in the streets and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. They will not satisfy their souls, nor fill their guts, because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
²⁰ As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty, but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things in it. Therefore I have made it as an unclean thing to them.
²¹ And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil and they will profane it. ²² I will also turn my face from them and they will profane my secluded place. And robbers will enter into it and profane it.

² But Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Assuredly I am saying to you, One stone may not be left here upon another stone, which will not be torn-down.

² And Jesus answered and said to him, Do you see these great buildings? One stone may not be left upon another stone, which may not be torn-down.

⁵ And while some are speaking about the temple, how it has been adorned with beautiful stones and votive-offerings, he said, ⁶ As for these things which you are viewing, the days will be coming in which one stone will not be left here upon another stone, that will not be torn-down.
