²⁰ Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still. Therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy upon him, says Jehovah.

¹³ And tear your* heart and not your* garments and turn to Jehovah your* God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and relents of the evil.

³² The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will be condemning it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, more-than Jonah is here.
