Yet a little while and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low. They are taken out of the way as all others and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.

²² Those who hate you will be clothed with shame and the tent of the wicked will be no more.

⁵ that the triumphing of the wicked is short and the joy of the profane but for a moment?

¹⁰ Yet a little while and the wicked man will not be. Yes, you will diligently consider his place and he will not be.

³⁵ I have seen a wicked man in great power and spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil. ³⁶ But I passed by, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

¹⁹ How they have become a desolation in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.

⁷ When the wicked spring up like the grass and when all the workers of unrighteousness flourish, it is that they will be destroyed forever,

⁵ And it will be as when the harvestman gathers the standing grain and his arm reaps the ears. Yes, it will be as when he gleans ears in the valley of Rephaim. ⁶ Yet there will be gleanings left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree–two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost branches of a fruitful tree, says Jehovah, the God of Israel.

¹¹ For the sun has risen together with the burning heat, and dried up the grass, and its flower fell and the beauty of its face perished. So shall the rich man also fade away in his pursuits.

¹ Come now you rich, weep, howling in your miseries, in those which are coming upon you. ² Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. ³ Your gold and silver have tarnished, and their tarnish will be for a testimony against you and will be eating your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasure in your^\'b0 last days.

¹⁴ And I saw and behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud I saw one sitting similar to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another messenger came out from the temple, crying in a loud voice to the one who sits upon the cloud, Send forth your sickle and reap, because the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe. ¹⁶ And he who sits upon the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.
¹⁷ Another messenger came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. ¹⁸ And another messenger came out from the altar, he who has authority over the fire, and he shouted to the one who had the sharp sickle with a loud outcry, saying, Send forth your sharp sickle and pick the clusters from the earth, because her grape-clusters were prime. ¹⁹ And the messenger cast his sickle into the earth and picked the clusters of the vine of the earth and cast it into the winepress, the great winepress of the fury of God. ²⁰ And the winepress was trampled on outside the city and there came out blood from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, up to one thousand six hundred furlongs.
