Jeremiah 44:22

22 So that Jehovah could no longer bear, because of the evil of your* practices and because of the abominations which you* have committed. Therefore your* land has become a desolation and an astonishment and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is this day.

Daniel 9:11

11 Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, even turning aside, that they should not obey your voice. Therefore the curse has been poured out upon us and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God. For we have sinned against him.
